This game has one of the strangest contracts I have every read. In section 5 it says that if you
strike a deal with any fey, infernal or eldritch origin person it reserves the right to sever all professional
and social ties with the end user. In section 15 it says that all legal disputes use Ireland courts and the loser
has to pay the winner's legal expenses. If you put all this together this sounds like it has SERIOUS potential
for abuse. Unfortunately the game looks really good, but this is just too much risk. There are other games
I can play without such an insane contract so I give this one a thumb's down.

This game is awesome! To really understand how to win, an understanding of each of the factions in play is necessary. Start with the birds and the cats, and eventually add the woodland alliance and finally the vagabond. Once the vagabond is added, old cards have new added effects. This game has a lot of replay ability. Although the ai isn’t great, the cards change the game so a victory isn’t guaranteed. An individual game is pretty short with ai. I didn’t test human opponents.

Civilization IV beyond the sword is so cool! You can win multiple ways with the diplomatic way being neglected by most players. Everyone wants to conquer the world but I just want all the other countries to bow down to my majesty without a fight through a diplomatic means. You can do that in Civilization IV. Also IV can have multiple units in the same square, making not dealing with some opponents quickly problematic.

Gate of Doom is my favorite arcade game from the 90’s that’s on steam. This game was designed to last longer per quarter (on coin operated arcade machines from the 90’s) but to get to the end it took a bunch of quarters to win no matter how good you were. Fortunately the Steam version has unlimited free starts and continues once you’ve paid for the game. This is a good port of Gate of Doom in my opinion.

Drop Hunt is a really neat puzzle game where with one button you move more than one piece simultaneously. If one of the pieces would move into a wall it doesn’t move. This allows pieces that move as a unit to ‘separate’ for one move. The game gives hints. This is a thumbs up on this one.

Excellent game! I paid full price for this game and it was WORTH IT! (That’s something I almost never do.) Please, please, please, please, please publish all of the expansions!

Pinball FX3 is ok, but the newer pinball FX can be tilted 3 different ways, and will have the newly developed tables. Don’t bother with Pinball FX3 unless you want to play Portal Pinball or one of the few others that didn’t make the transfer.

The main improvement I noticed from the older Pinball FX3 is that you can tilt the ball in 3 different directions. Offering big discounts on a lot of their tables got me transferred from FX3, but I didn’t own lots of tables from it like some others. If starting out definitely go with this one.

Universal Classics in the newer Pinball FX (Pinball FX3 is older) is the best p.c. pinball game in my opinion for non-pros. It is easy to get multiballs, and it automatically relaunches lost balls for a short time once you get one. FX can tilt the machine in 3 directions whereas FX3 can only bump the virtual pinball machine forward. This is a great deal on sale. My favorite is Back To The Future.
