This game is adorable, but indeed very short and a little overpriced. Definitely wait for it to go on sale.

The main issues I have are: (1) The settings do not save; they are always reset when you close the game, this includes button mapping. (2) The jump feels inconsistent and unresponsive sometimes. I have missed jumps and had to start over many times--not a big deal, just annoying. (3) Yes, the length. You can easily beat this game in 30 minutes or less. There are some distractions, but they start to feel pointless pretty quick. You are also shown where your house is straight from the start, so there is no "finding" your home. I wish they let you discover it yourself. It ruins the incentive to keep exploring after you collect all the stamina.

I still recommend the game because what it does offer is a lot of fun--bugging people, exploring, and just messing around.

A precious gem of pure delight.
Only one stage but had me smiling the whole time. Really hope for more of this game.

This game is an underrated, hidden gem. Sandrock is beautiful, has amazing music, lovable characters, and an addictive gameplay loop. The story is so engaging, you find it almost impossible to tear yourself away from it. There are bugs, yes, but I have personally never experienced anything that could hinder enjoyment, and it's definitely not a broken game. If you enjoyed its predecessor, My Time at Portia, you are more than likely to enjoy this one.

I have been playing Sandrock since early access in May 2022. I've seen the ups and downs; some changes good, some bad, but the attitude of the developers have always been positive, engaged, and open to criticism. This is commendable. Sandrock has certainly become my #1 favorite game.
