The game was fun until SBMM kicked in and matched me against Europoors as a North American in a casual lobby in a free to play game. I should not have to play against people on the opposite side of the globe or laggy third world mexican Xbox players who can't afford games let alone an internet connection that isn't dial-up.
There's nothing enjoyable about trying to shoot welfare bandits that move around looking like Powerpoint presentations.

The bot support is great, but attempting to disguise the bots as real players by giving them names real players would use is disgusting. Some of the bots have TTV in their name which is ridiculous.

You have to install Origin and useless PunkBuster for a game purchased on Steam in 2021.
Hopefully Dice will smarten up before they release 2042.
Edit: It also installs useless, unwanted programs such as ESN Sonar and BattleLog Web Plugins. You also have to jump through hoops to prevent Origin and PunkBuster from opening on PC startup. 4 additional programs to play a game from 2014 is unacceptable.

Level 30, World Tier 15, never got any of this garbage. Not like it would've mattered though since upgrading gear is way too expensive. Don't buy this "content" pack, and don't buy Outriders. By far one of the worst games I have ever played.

Don't buy this game. It's boring. It is so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ BORING. Absolutely every aspect of this game is boring, and that's not including the glaring technical issues this game has.

The story is some cookie cutter boring garbage about humanity being on the verge of extinction that takes place on an off-brand Earth, which means that the environments consist of typical boring places that have been done hundreds of times before such as garbage towns, forests, and mountains. Despite this being science fiction there's nowhere in the game that looks visually interesting or unique.

You spend the entire game killing the same human enemies with bad AI that are reskinned a few times, and different shapes of melee or slow projectile throwing aliens that look like a mashup of monsters from other games and movies. The abilities are uninteresting and you're limited to 3 of them at a time. You're also unable to see what abilities a class has until you pick said class and level up enough to unlock them, which is a terrible idea. The games idea of difficulty is to make enemies deal and take more damage which is BORING.

Progression is slow and tedious. This is one of those badly balanced games where combat and side quests give you small amounts of XP, while main quests give you massive amounts. The skill trees are huge but most of the perks available are useless.

The gun-play is decent, some of the boss fights are alright, but otherwise this game is mediocre, boring, forgettable garbage. It looks and plays like a game from 10 years ago and I regret buying it. I would've refunded it if I didn't spend most of my first 2 hours getting disconnected from the garbage servers during the boring singleplayer only prologue because the brain dead devs decided to release their first online-only game the day before a long weekend.

Don't buy this game. There's nothing special or unique or interesting about this game and it has no reason to exist. It actually made me want to play that trash game Destiny 2 again which is a sin in of itself. If you had to pick between this and Destiny 2. Pick neither, blow your brains out instead.

There's nothing unifying about people being silenced for having opposing opinions than those of dangerous groomers.

All of the legendary armor and weapons from Shadowkeep are now unusable thanks to gear sun setting, and the gear from the 3 following seasons are unobtainable because of the horrendous way that Bungie handled those seasons.
You are paying full price for one of the worst stories in the entire franchise, and exotics that are meta or have the potential of being meta in the future.

Friendly reminder after George Floyd overdosed, Bungie added a BLM emblem to the game to virtue signal, and put it behind a PAY WALL.
I never thought it would be possible for a developer to become more greedy after LEAVING Activision, but Bungie proved everyone wrong.
Enjoy another round of layoffs, you all deserve it ;)
