We beat Sony, back to supporting the game and its devs.

At this point of development, the game is fairly filled up with things to do, but like many have said, it has a steep learning curve and for me personally, my brain is too smooth to manage all the of the smaller things going on.

Whilst it gives the impression of being story driven, it doesn't feel like it is for me, and whilst I do understand & appreciate the comparisions to the XCOM franchise, I feel thats doing XCOM dirty abit. Its like comparing command and conquer against HOI 4. One is an RTS tactical strategy game, the other is grand strategy and all the facets of it. They are extremely different, the only similarities are that they both contains aliens that occasionally crash.

To conclude, I do NOT think this is a bad game, I think many people will enjoy its challenges and complexity, but its not for me.

Great fun, was gifted the game by a friend who knows I enjoy abit of the nam.

Whilst it's single player experience is lacking, it's coop missions atmospherics remind me alot of the contact DLC, which I enjoyed hugely. It has solid tension building stretches of time which can be shattered by the clatter of machinegun fire and the battle calls of the NBA as they hunt you through the bush.

Multiplayer is also fun, though a few mod incompatibilities stunt it slightly, but it is to expected from a brand new DLC and I'm positive it will all get patched and sorted in no time.

Probably the best game I have ever played. So much replayibility.

For a game still grounded in its development, I find it to be highly addictive and fun, though somewhat frustrating, but that said, frustration is all part of a game.

The total creative freedom you have with the designer for the story mode and campaign is refreshing, but the modular aspects of putting your vehicle together can be daunting and requires sitting down and really tinkering around to find the right balance of armour, weaponry and other abilities. It is not just a pick up and play sort of game.

There are negatives naturally, the story mode isn't much good and with the game constantly being updated/developed, it does have stability issues. Nothing that wont be fixed in due course naturally.

In conclusion for this short review, I rate it 4 stars out of five, a great game to lose yourself in for a couple of hours.

Utterly terrible game and a waste of money. I was expecting great things but it was just bland, unexciting and dark.
