So h*cking cute! Don't know why I just bought it now, but for the sale price it's a steal with all the fun this game has.
Only downside is that it crashes a bit often sometimes but Ithink I fixed that by turning off the online lobby while in Nyakuza Metro where I was having the most crashes.

Abandoned after a year with one expansion, and now the turds have the nerve to come out with "Paid mods 2: The quest for more money" (ripped off, inferior versions of the existing free mods). Well then, thanks for killing Fallout.

Mass Effect 2, the best game in the series come at me, is the only SP game I've gone back to play and complete 7 times. It was so good that after pirating to try it out,(t was a long time ago get off my back)it caused me to buy it, then the first game, and lastly the third once it came out. Eventually buying the whole triolgy, twice(console and PC).
It is also the first game to actually make me think through and understand the consequences of my decisions. A failure to do this resulted in clear liquid leaking from my eyes for an undisclosed amount of time.

I would like to start saying that it was very difficult indeed to put this game down so that I could write this review, at 24 hours in without completing it yet I'm pretty much addicted.
You should also know that it is going to be heavily biased as human revolution( a game you should play before considering purchasing this one) is one of my favorite games of all time.

If you ever played Human revolution like I suggested then MD will feel familiar right off the bat, seriously. The only major difference is improvment with the addition of new "experimental" augmentations(get the remote hacking early on, you won't regret it!). Not too mention the great facelift the dawn engine has provided for this beautiful cyberpunk dystopia. Exploration is one of the finest core elements, and unlike Bethesda games, known for worlds with the depth of a puddle, the map is smaller but actually feels alive. I was initially dissapointed to discover there would only be one main hub(Prauge) but was pleasantly surprised to see just how much there was to see and do. I have mostly spent my first 15 hours just wondering around the very first area just soaking the atmosphere in(Michael McCann makes a terrific comeback as the composer for this game's superb soundtrack. Just the intro sequence gave me goosbumps) getting distracted with other sidequests and exciting paths ect, before finally deciding to start the main story quest. Great level design is something to be espected nowadays after human revolution, and I would have to be a lying ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ to say this game didn't. Who knew breaking into an information bank would be so much fun?? The tutorial doesn't do this game justice as it's more linear than the actual game but it is also necesery for new players to the franchise. Soon you will find that there about 5 to 8 different ways to tackle obsticles, as is tradition in the Deus Ex universe.

The optimazion is not...great. Being ported into PC by Nixxes it's disappointing that I'm not getting a very good framerate on Medium/High. My rig is running on a GTX 970, FX 6300 overclocked to 4.5ghz and 8 gigs of DDR3 ram and I'm getting around 50-60 fps while walking in open areas, dipping to 45 and stuttering while running, and around 80 while in indoor areas. I've heard of people having trouble with crashes though, but I guess I'm one of the "lucky ones" that has yet to experience any game breaking bugs or crashes. Remember that steam does have a refund system so make use of it if you're having serious issues and maybe wait for them to be fixed (you can always pass the time by playing Human Revolution!).
I have also heard that the biggest complaint aside from the performence is the story it itself, particullary the ending. I can't comment on this as I have yet to get there but I'll update this review and post it into a spoiler section to let you know if it's a matrix reloaded type of bs cliffhanger.

I feel bad for the devs that spent time balancing the game's reward system, only to have some corporate bastard put an in-game store in a singleplayer game and go "Oh you wanted cheats? Cough up real money!"
A friend to me that Breach mode essentully turns into a cashgrab later on as well. Luckily, this doesn't affect the core game though. I'm playing on the highest difficult and praxis kits that are used for Aug upgrades(and sold in the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ store) aren't exactly hard to come by as you progress in the game. Breach mode is also optional with no real tides to the story, hence easy to ignore. The "this pre-order DLC can only be actived in 1 playthrough" still sort of leaves a bad taste though...

TLDR: Deus Ex Mankind Divided is a game made with love, and unfortunatly sold by people who took one long look at EA and said "I want to be more cancerous."
At it's worst, this sequel is just as good as Human Revolution despite the disgusting business practices by Square Enix.
I also recommend watching this video on the subject made by Jim Sterling

Update: After finnishing the game, light spoilers ahead.
I have to say that even though it wasn't as bad as some people made it seem, it still felt a bit abrupt. It seems pretty obvious that there is another sequel planned, that hopefully ties Adam Jensen's story line to the original Deus Ex. Looking forward to it as long as they don't start milking the franchise and releasing games at the speed of COD. My experience with the game it self was pretty much the opposite, 40 hours in one playthrough with great sidequests. Would obviously still recommend but I would still wait a bit until every bug that remains is sorted out.

Update: 7,49€ is a steal!
