This game is kind of hype, the fighting mechanics, the character variety and overall combo structure of the game is all pretty spectacular.
As a fighting game fanatic I could see myself spending days labbing sick combos, finding interesting conversions and setting up cool oki, my only gripe is that I see no reason for the game to be fully 3D with very 2D style controls, sometimes this makes the wall "shift" your opponent out of your combo and the 3D dodge could easily have been a 2D spot dodge.
However the game still feels very "loose" (if you know, you know) and overall the gameplay is satisfying, engaging and most importantly very very fun. Sucks that all I CAN do is play it offline...

It seems like CyberConnectFour and Bandai Cumco still haven't realised that releasing a fighting game in the year of our lord 2022 without Rollback Netcode (and with terrible delay netcode to boot) is basically a death sentence to the game's online lifespan (hell, even games WITH rollback can die) and this game had a chance, a chance that has been thoroughly squandered by the developer and publisher.
Sure, some people will stick around, but this ♥♥♥♥ is inexcusable. Releasing a game with an online THIS dysfunctional is ridiculous. Fighting games to survive online need just the bare minimum and they delivered ♥♥♥♥ all.
Most fans would have been ok with waiting a bit more for quality online to be a development priority, but instead they chose to release the game to fit with the release of more episodes of the part 6 anime and that is honestly a huge shame.

In this day and age fighting game developers and publishers usually give a ♥♥♥♥, they try to make the best product they can, they make their new titles with good online and even retroactively add them to older ones, all to harper a healthy online community, to keep their games alive for longer, but Bandai seems to be treating this game like an arena fighter, like a "toss them the fanservice and run" game, maybe this review will be moot in a year or two if they decide to actually fix this, but honestly at release I can't recommend the game for it's full price, maybe if you love both Jojo and FGs then go ahead, otherwise keep your money to yourself.

Devs won't stop updating the game, cannot escape, send help

Clearly a lot of love has been put into this project, therefore I have two reasons to recommend this game:

1º - It's a pretty good game. No really, it is, from all the gargantuan amount of hentai games on steam, this one takes the cake! It's pretty great to see a lot of care being put into making good content like this! The veins on that sharks' arms still scare me to this day...

2º - So it infects all of my friends front steam page against their will. (evil laugh)
