This has been the game ive been looking for. I guess my only complaint is it seemed kinda short.

Not short in the way of variety of ways to get from A-B but the time it takes to get there.

I have noticed the loading times have gotten shorter towards the end of my last playthrough.

Ever since fallout 1 - 2 story telling and fallout tactics style graphics I've always wanted a some of both. I didnt feel it was worth the price I paid until I beat it. I just wish it was longer, id buy a expansion.

I'm pretty sure I got this for like $15 a while back. I automatically recommend any game that holds my attention for $1 per hour, ive played 18 hours.

Definitely more of a controller game

Is not as grindy if you don't try to kill every enemy on every map although thats certainly a playstyle.

Early Access Review
There is free play which disables the 15 min timer!!!!!

Just buy it, even for just the experience. I normally play FPS and 4X Turn based games, for months I may dabble in games like They are billions. I've never played a game like this. The only game I could compare it to is Portal but even that is kind of untrue.

You're essentially a salvage technician taking apart space ships from the size of small Van sized ships to larger super yachts (not what they are called in game). Its a pretty quick learning curve.

You will waste a lot of the valuable resources at first but eventually with some upgrades you will be able to be more precise and efficient.

The 15 min timer / oxygen levels / fuel and health add immersion to the game. I'd be pretty bored if I could just go all day on 1 ship. My 2 cents.

P.S once you are done with this game make a planet based version so we can deal with other hazards.

I thought Cities skylines and Sim City were fun. Some of the aspects of managing the supply lines are similar to those two games but Rise of Industry makes you manage the capacity of the buildings production rates to keep up with each other ( if you care about efficiency). Otherwise eventually the units will catch up.

I think the monthly expenses made this a lot more fun for me because I liked seeing where I was spending most of my money. I wish more games did a report so for a RTS it would show you that you spent 250 minerals on units in the last (turn).

I'll come back. This game is pretty addicting. I just have 100 + games to try and play before I die.

The game would be great and I remember it being amazing. I have no idea how the people below are getting past the bugs I'm having.

The bazzaars will only send out the ladies once, so wont refill. Once goods are gone thats it no more bazaar runs.

Storage lots wont accept even when set to accept all or maximum.

I tried setting the game speed to 80%, this only helps the grain farms feed the cattle farms. They will store at granary but granary will not distribute ever.

Plenty of water wells, plenty of workers, fire, architect, police all in place.

Game is bugged, big shame for me. I remember having a lot of fun.

The shooting mechanics are probably some of the best I've ever played. I really liked Doom 2016 and this reminds me a lot about it. I think the issue here is they really got the atmosphere of a barren wasteland. Because its really barren. There's points of interest, currency, upgrade mods that you collect basically for doing anything. I expected this so I'm not really let down by not being super into the storyline since I just wanted a great looking shooter.

Once you get your mods up and abilities leveled you really start to feel how they show your character in the commercials. I've played on hard difficulty by the way since I saw so many complaints about the "easy" normal setting. Hard is fun forces you to rely on ability combos at the later stages. Wish

On the con side I've frozen probably once every 2 hours. Kind of annoying. I got it for $30, i'll probably get 30 hours out of it.

Buy this on sale, wait for some patches, if you just want some cool shooting mechanics and are ok with leveling up your character the first 3 hours to get all your abilities then go for it. If you just want to be the doom marine from minute 1 you'll need to pass.

Short: For 50%, decent game, great lore /story

I bought the game for 24.99, so for this price I do recommend it. I could understand the people who are upset about the expansion being sold for 24.99 also when it should be included for that price. For 24.99 on Martyr I feel like a got a good deal. I usually only recommend if I get $1 per hour. I just have a lot of games on my plate right now and I know I'll eventually get 25 hours out of it. Mostly because the story, if you genuinely like 40k lore then for $25 you get a decent story that about 4 hours in gives you a good twist to make you want to keep going.

The voice acting is great
The classes genuinely feel different. (I'd youtube the classes so you dont feel stuck and having to re-grind in case you dont like your class)
My favorite class to experiment with was the Crusader with jumpack, my most playtime though is the assassin stealth.

I enjoyed it at a average 80 FPS maxed out.

Best first person melee combat simulator to date 05/19/19.

For those looking to show your expertise at crushing hordes with precision that eventually will require skill then you will be happy.

If you are looking to have a few outfits to choose from, you will be very sad. Only reason why I'm not 1,000 hours deep.

I got it on sale. It was fun enough. Not enough factions for me to ever pay full price, and not going to pay more than $2 for the additional factions that should have been in the game. Feels incomplete without them.

It was good enough for what I paid.

$40 for base game
$15 for chaos/tyranid

Imagine. Paying $70 for that.
