I probably like many people heard about this game from the over representation from various Battlefield Streamers and Youtubers boasting about how this game was "a wake up call for DICE". I count myself lucky as my hype for Battlefield 2042 died almost as quickly as it started once I began to learn more and more about this game, in other words, my battlefield experience hasn't been soured by DICE's latest entry in the battlefield series.

So, Battlebit Remastered is a Battlefield-like game: Combined arms infantry battles with tanks and helicopters flying about. Of my brief on and off playtime with it, I can honestly say that, sure, the streamers and youtubers were right, Battlebit is very similar to BF3, that is Pre-Patched Launch BF3. The movement is janky, the maps are completely unoptimized, the UI is completely terrible, I've already noticed a Meta pick for assault rifles, and unlike in BF3 it isn't the starting rifle, meaning new players, even new players that are experienced with shooters, will lose several gun fights do to the fact that they aren't a high enough level yet to unlock the good gun.

The community is mostly welcoming, with a few zoomers not realizing that some people don't have all day in the summer to just play computer games, and coming home from a long day at work only to get stuck in a server that has one side completely spawn camping the other isn't a great end of the day. This game needs *a lot* of work done into it, and hopefully the devs hire more people to work out the many kinks in this game and not just adding more weapons because they think it looks cool.

I really hope that Battlebit does get work on as I see myself putting in many hours into this game, but as of now, it just isn't fun or a good game.

A game that has no right to be as good as it is. Amazing gameplay loop, awesome soundtrack. A game to rival Ace Combat. I do hope that it gets an eventual sequal

Developers need to stop putting "drawing inspiration/inspired by XCOM" as an excuse to make their games unfair

The latest patch made the pve battles at anything medium or above next to impossible for >30 rank unless you use premium currency, wait until they re-fix the ai before downloading

Well, good job, Isotx, you made a loyal player for when it came out quit. Good job on turning a unique, political strategy game with some basic turnbased strategy into a run-of-the-mill pay-to-win game. DO NOT DOWNLOAD THIS UNTIL THEY REFIX AI
