Amazing. I was never one for a top down turn-based game, but BG3 is by far an exception. The story, the characters, the amount of things you can do. It is all just phenomenal. Top tier game, no wonder why it won GOTY

This game is absolutely phenomenal. If you want a game that has a great story, where your actions matter(giving you a different difficulty depending on your choices) and fantastic visuals. This is the game for you.

When playing on the hardest difficulty, I can tell you it is really hard. I find myself almost rage quitting because I die so fast, lol. But don't make that push you away, because after you do beat that boss, or group of enemies. The sense of satisfaction is remarkable. If dieing quickly isn't your thing, you can always just pick a different difficulty. Keep in mind though, as this is really important, you can not, I repeat CAN NOT change difficulty after starting a play-through. Luckily though there are 3 saves so you can start easy or hard, and adjust accordingly.

All around a really fun game, I have yet to finish it and currently have 30 hours in it, so you will be getting your time worth the money.

I would say buying this game at full price, may be worth it. But really just wait, because this game does go on sale often, I think I got mine for ~10$.

Really important to keep in mind. I highly recommend a controller. Like do not play with keyboard. It may work if you change the controls and stuff, but this is the type of game where even the camera feels weird controlling it with a mouse. While using a controller however, it is smooth and really just optimal. You can really tell that this game was indeed meant to be played with a controller.

From this point on what I say may just end up changing how you may proceed in the game while playing. So continue if you want to.

------------------------------MAY CHANGE THE WAY YOU PLAY----------------------------------
On my first play-through, I made the mistake of killing innocent civilians whenever I got the chance. Seeing as I was on the hardest difficulty I thought that I just need to level up, but the game is not as simple as that. It is immersive to the point where depending on whom you kill, you may just ♥♥♥♥ everything up, resulting in you really second guessing your choices.

When I played for the second time, I managed to get way further. Pro tip, save as many humans as you can, and don't sleep too often. You want to make sure that you can heal as many of them as possible before proceeding with a good ol nap.

P.S. Be careful with what you spend your money on, you dont have a lot. You may die a ♥♥♥♥ ton fighting one (mini)boss, but really hold off on getting better gear, or upgrading gear.

The game is just poorly optimized, I have a 3060 and on low settings I'm getting around 60fps. Story is also really bland, it just seems tossed together

After playing Little Nightmares 1 I kind of expected a twist at the end, but that doesn't mean this one was any worse. Great game and at the end it still made me say "holy s**t"

Early Access Review
The game is good and when VR compatibility came out I was hyped. Although there are a ton of bugs and performance issues in the VR mode that is to be expected for this is just the first update of many to come. There is one thing I believe would make it a lot better, that is to not force the player to use their left controller when in-game. I am not sure if this is just a Rift S issue and if it is that would make it a lot more understandable. Also the way the menus follow the player is a bit buggy and off, I am not sure if it is possible but I suggest keeping it in a locked location. Like the direction the user was facing when they pressed the button. On top of that, there are some maps (VR classic for example) that the menu can get hidden behind the rocks and background. So far the game is great and I really do still recommend it, good job!
