Probably fine for a casual playthrough, where you ignore all collectables. But the game is downright tedious trying to go for all boxes in each level, let alone the new "n sanely perfect relics" where you cannot die once in levels that are 3-4x as long as the original crash games.

The game was clearly not designed with 100% in mind and any "secrets" or "hidden areas" are extremely underwhelming as well and come across as rushed.

The N.Hanced mod fixes a good number of the issues, and I would suggest it to anyone wanting to try this game, but it cannot fix the primary issue that this game wasn't designed with completion in mind at all.

Save yourself the money and go play the mod instead, which has far more content than this mess of a game.

"Bestgameofalltimeomgbuynowpls" is what I posted back in early 2013, where the game truly was enjoyable to play. Nowadays, patches over the years have made the game boring beyond belief to play. Every game is a long, drawn out stomp from one team where you can't kill them because of the level difference and you're forced to stall the game out for 10-20+ minutes. This isn't fun for anybody.

Not to mention that nearly every "fun" character build has been gutted from this game, where every character is shoehorned into the same playstyle, with upgrades only having minor alterations.
