Good Edition, glad Persia got more attention. Modders could've added more than what this expansion added however. Could've had more depth.

It's better than most $5 paradox DLC, CK3 and EUIV teams are the only ones left doing a decent job. Nothing bad.

As someone who owns all Paradox Games, CK3 team is the only good one left. I stopped purchasing DLC for all other games because the CK3 team is the only one doing it right. Big kudos.

Being able to run Cyberpunk perfectly but not this is crazy. Monumental graphic failure. It's melting graphics cards.

There are so so so many games with graphics significantly better than this game that run perfectly.

Very disappointing.

All the graphics and houses look like the dog from above as well. Everything is blurry and low texture even on higher graphics settings and graphics card staying under 80 degrees. Everything is a BLOB.

First Paradox DLC in over a year, maybe years, that has been truly amazing with content and value. Apply this type of development to games like VIC3/EU4!

EDIT: I will say seeing the vanilla characters again outside of EPE and all the mods looks horrific. Like there is underlying very poor quality characters that are an issue with vanilla. CK3 needs to work with EPE and help them quick because it models and quality remain this poorly I would change my recommendation.

PDX lacks diversity, its appears to be a growing neck beard company. This causes a lot of poor decisions, content, and leadership. Get younger and diverse talent. Mods of this content would be 10x better and 5x more content for free or $2 sub on Patreon. I'm no longer purchasing additional DLC for this game, same as Victoria.

Actually have 10+ hours but it doesn't show because you have to dig in the game files to find the .exe and play from that because the launcher is broke.

I share a lot of the opinions on how the economy is purely back in forth between check high demand -> build -> check again. Unfortunately the economy and factory system feels more like the Venture Capitalist clicker games. If they are going to give you complete control at least allow wages or other things to be modified to give it more personality. It feels vapid here to the point of a clicker game.

The back and forth on the economy dominates time, and in the end it just feels boring compared to VIC2 and all other paradox games. Like I can get swallowed into huge gaming stents with every other paradox game but after just 2 days of this I feel like it's done? Someone mentioned countries come off as the same - and it does appear so, I honestly favor the global market for goods - it added personality and felt more influenced.

3 buttons for tariffs is crazy simplistic as well and the fact it just chooses that 10, 15, or 30% for you - bring back sliders.

I get the notion of institutions and how it shouldn't be a fast or easy thing but those big level 1 through 5 buttons for important stuff like healthcare, education, police - it again feels like a cookie clicker and is odd management for those critical government sectors to just be on a linear 1 through 5 with the same modifiers that just go up a few percentage points. It's vapid and boring.

Creating 3-5 buttons for everything is dooming areas to simplicity, especially when every government tax and expenditure is based on your selection of a few buttons that just scale the same modifier.

Compared to VIC2 I feel the international aspect is severely hurt because I'm even more so just focusing on the back and forth with demand so much more and doing the cookie clicker on factories. I rarely enjoyed anything international.

Maybe bring on a more passionate and creative team? Utilize younger and diverse talent. The fact that multiple streams and showcases of the game leading up to this had game-breaking bugs and no heart-filled response was a bit insincere. The game breaking a week or two before launch isn't acceptable on a showcase. One of the streams also had someone just going fast-clicking rapidly through with no explanation or care for the game? The team appears to like "min-maxing" and shows no creativity and passion in those showcases for how a typical player might be playing.

I mean look at the "personality" and depth that EU4/VIC2 has, insurmountable content - I'm not saying you should match that but at least 25% of it on launch.

P.S. Don't let sweaties talk bad about slavery, trial of tears, etc options in this game - it is MORE fun to have that lens in the game of what if we didn't massacre and destroy hordes of humans and precious life and cultures. One of the few good contents of the game was being able to take better positions on the trial of tears, etc. This game isn't about giving you the ability to live out a white suprem@cist fever dream, I fear however that is a sizable community for these games - and it should never be catered to.

I've bought 4 editions + addons, I believe I even rated good to support development in other games however the bugs and issues are roughest in this edition so far.

In my 6 hours so far, my bug list:
- China building Data/Telephone infrastructure its negative so when you go to build it actually subtracts and destroys your infrastructure. You cannot build infrastructure because you end up destroying it.
- Just a few months into the game (all settings on normal) a bug caused wildfires to appear literally every other day in China and across the world non-stop ruining that game after I increased the budget in wildfire protection.
- Building high speed rail turns the screen blue, glitchy, and only visible parts are squares around cities.
- A few times the entire UI shifts so your mouse cursor is no longer pointing on the right spot on the screen.
- Reloading a game without fully exiting the game causes the mini map to glitch out and becoming a horizontal mush of pixels glitched across the lower right.
- Negative amounts when constructing stuff have appeared in other areas as well.

New Feature Issues:
- The conspiracy theories are ridiculous, immersion ruining, and pop up very frequently and there is no need to literally spam them every week. Maybe once a year you can have this mechanic to monitor.
- I have never had a game where Ukraine holds Russia off, I don't think complete annexation is realistic IRL or in-game. Russia should probably just stick to border provinces in-game. If this is too much to code just don't do it and focus on bugs.

OVERALL - The devs can easily just play the game and see all the bugs people talk about - they aren't elusive - none of them are. Literally just play the game and when you see the game breaking stuff pop up work to address it.

I support this genre and spent a couple hundred with Eversim - I think its fair to ask for less game-breaking bugs.

---

Update: Shockingly a lot of the bugs I have had have been fixed or do not show up any more (or are at least no game breaking ones) so I am switching back to thumbs up for now.
