What is the dog doing?

It is not what the dog is doing, but why the dog is doing.

The dog does many things. The dog do sniff, the dog do bark. But it is the why that intertwines the fabricated concepts that we have built, such as consciousness, into another being. We can apply Descartes' "Cogito, ergo sum" or rather, "I think therefore I am," into this equation. Though, can we expand? Existentialism is not the boundaries for this, no, we need to ask if the dog aware. Solipsism is they key here, for if the dog is aware, then we must ask ourselves if we are aware? The dog is aware of their own actions and being, and thus, they are, as they are doing. What separates us, however, is that we are aware of the state of awareness. We acknowledge this never ending cycle of awareness and being aware to our state of being, and associate it with our existence, for without it we are mindless vessels that house Mother Nature's Intellect.

So, to answer your question, "what is the dog doing?"

The dog is being. The dog is whole, and the dog is existing. The better answer is to be asked, "what is the man doing?"

A dog has no prevalence, no weight in a solipsistic society. The dog simply is, and always will be in a permanent state of being. I raise the question not for an advocate, no, but to rather fully understand ourselves. Why must we feel the need to ask what the dog is doing, thought it pertains to none of our issues or struggles at hand? How come the human race is focused on the matters of a dog and the awareness of a creature, when before us, our own planet is slowly rotting and withering due to our never ending footprint we have left? The entropic state caused by humans is irreversable, and we are impending our own doom, but what is the man doing? Mankind is doing nothing, no, they exist and they see these struggles and are fully aware, and capable of infinite levels of awareness, and yet Mankind shrinks back into the corner of their own minds collectively. Mankind and dog are alike now, you see, if not below the likes of a creature. We have the mental strength granted by evolution and the power to cause change, and yet we lie helpless and still while our Earth and society crumbles. The rich will continue to take from the poor, the planet will continue to die, and we will only grow more distant from each other. Whereas the Dog, unbeknownst to them, is confined in the borders of their own reality, barking and sniffing away. The dog is more involved in their lives, taking matters into their own hands, only for mankind to foolishly neglect their issues, a true embarrassment to the human race while dire situations only become more dire.

Man is still, and man is blind.
