TLDR: Just buy it.

Alright, this was a game that I bought thinking that I was going to hate it. A friend and I were looking for a new game to play on steam. We went to the top charts and each chose a game that we thought looked interesting. He ended up choosing Factorio and convinced me to get it. Well, I got into the game and it was like online crack. Suddenly all my time on my computer was spent playing Factorio. I am the type of person who enjoys playing with friend above all else and the multiplayer in this game is amazing. Alas, my friend stopped playing the game, which caused me to stop playing as well. I never even got the chance to launch the game ending rocket. If he had continued to play the game, I guarantee I would easily have 1000+ hours on this game. Give the game a chance and just play it.
