Very well made, introducing some novel gameplay mechanics and an overhauled weapon animation system. Plot is very well made and the game feels like a fully fledged Valve game. Can't believe this is free!

I have been playing this game for pretty much ever since it came out. The 2.0 update completely ruined it. The game is less balanced, the netcode is somehow worse, and the game lost most of its charm, becoming a generic knockoff of its former self.

It's still very barebones but fun at the start, but eventually the game starts punishing you for progressing. the more you expand, the more of a hassle it becomes to manage your store. Logically you would want a big array of products in your store but storage management is very basic with minimal insights if any, and the winning strategy becomes selling one highly profitable item ONLY, because the AI customers are programmed in a very basic way of "thinking". So it's nice but currently I cannot recommend it for its full price

This entire game feels like an asset flip that was slapped together by a college kid. While the map is indeed huge (which is the only pro I can find), the AI (especially civlians') is ABSOLUTELY BRAINDEAD. Driving is unimmersive to an extreme. 7 years later and this game is still unfinished junk. I only play because of my friends. At least I got it for 5$, I don't advise paying full price AT ALL.

I miss the old Valve.

What this game lacks in playtime, it makes up for with stunning visual and sound design. You feel completely immersed within this incredible make-believe world and the puzzles are challenging and refreshing. The game has also been localized in a wide variety of languages. Playing with a controller is definitely recommended.

Astroneer is a one-of-its-kind type of game. It's great for people who like to explore, build and engineer, it's fairly casual and does not require you to do pretty much anything you don't want to do. Don't want to follow the mission? Go ahead and just ♥♥♥♥ around. The creative mode is proof for this philosophy. The studio is very attentive to the community and you can see how much love and care they put into this game. Definitely a nice game to play with endless replayability, where you can constantly automate, improve, build, craft and explore to your heart's content.

I haven't heard of Rusty Lake at all but decided to pick this game up along with Milo and the Magpies in a bundle. Nice little gem, incredible art style, it's more of an interactive story at times rather than an actual game, and I feel like most puzzles might be a tad too easy. I definitely recommend picking it up. Finished it in about 2 hours.

I assume most of the recent reviews will be from people who watched Joeseppi's video about Steam games with 0 players. I have also watched it and decided to give it a try. It's a nice little gem, the art style is amazing and the puzzles are a bit clever but not too hard (unlike, for example, the puzzles in "The Tiny Bang Story".
I definitely recommend picking it up, the price is rightfully low as I have finished the game in under an hour.

Overall a nice game, great sound design, very casual and short to play, although some of the puzzles were a bit too hard for my taste. It relied heavily on color perception and therefore I'd say a pretty big downside for it is that it's not colorblind-friendly AT ALL. The art design is also very good.
