Oh boy oh boy, TF2, how I love, yet hate you.

OK here we go, this game is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ FANTASTIC, but it has its shortcomings
here are some of them

Gameplay: 7/10 This game has a mix of "broken and ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ meta" to "Wait, this one can be used and be viable at the same time?" Pyro is in desperate need of a nerf, but some classes like Spy can be very fun to play! (and main)

Mechanics: 4/10 Engi, Engi, Engi, you need the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ or you get your points capped, also medic, even though nobody plays him :(

Skill: 9.3/10 This game genuinely takes skill, but only to get good, if you're just starting out, you can get quite a few kills just by finding your playstyle, like me, I found that Scout suited me best since I like fast paced action, i've recently switched to Spy since he is matching my playing stealth games alot more. But Pyro drops it a smidge. (♥♥♥ pyro mains tbh)

Luck?: 11/10 Most classes are based on set values like run speed or damage, but some seem like borderline luck, take spy for example, i've hit more lucky Bstabs than calculated ones. But with scout it's very consistent.

Tutorial: 0/10 No tutorial, and I can't even judge this stat for real. (this will have no affect on rating)

All in all, this game gets a solid 8/10, it's fun, exciting, and damn fun to play when you're bored, and it's Free! Even if you hate the game you didn't pay for it so it's ok :D

I bet you saw that i didn't recommend this game and thought "Wow he must be garbage, trash ass ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥!!1!!!111!!" and yes while i may not be the best, i've hit Global several times, have many different acountss, and have accumulated over 10k hours in this game, and during that time the community went from ok, to borderline League of Legends levels of toxic and retarded, the higher the rank you go, the more toxic it gets, and I have seen, ON EVERY ACCOUNT AT LEAST 20 SPINBOT OVERWATCH CASES, S I G H, it gets very annoying when you do it for a youtube channel, I never get any interesting cases, and I have never seen ANY griefing reports, and i've never had a match in supreme where my teammates DIDN'T belong in Silver. Next up, i think the awp can be abused as much as people want, but i swear to god if i get 16-14'd because of a Global full Queue that spam buy autos, I swear to god I will give away my accounts to some lowly asshat looking to brag about a rank that they can't justify with gameplay. And this wouldn't be a good review if I didn't do my trademarked review slots, so humour me for my "Hating" even though it's justified


Gameplay: 4/10 It's broken at best, certain guns are absolutely useless, like the sawed-off, it's a smurf weapon for memers


Tutorial: 0/1 This is a self-learn game, like overwatch, or some other competitive games based on strategy and skill (or luck)

Mechanics: 1/10 What? this game is basically luck and set patterns.

Community 0/10 LOL, expecting a good community out of this game is like expecting Hitler to resurrect the people he killed.

Experiences 10/10 I've met a majority of my friends list in this game, all of them are amazing people, funny, and very nice,

Prime Matchmaking 0/10 This barely works, and when it does, everyone else thinks that the game is life or death.

Language Barrier 5/10 I sometimes see people from places like, mexico, or even Europe, in KO and NA servers, servers, it breaks a language barrier, disallowing communication.

All in all i think this game deserves a 1/10 since it has way to many flaws to be fun, and not nearly enough perfections to balance it out, don't waste your money on this game, it isn't worth it.

This game is so good, from sinking a large amount of my freetime im realizing that maybe i've been too harsh at times, it's supposed to be extremely difficult, but once you realize the amazingly detailed backgrounds, deeply engrossing gameplay, and the amazing music, the experience is much more worth the trouble of hours spent fighting beautifully choreographed boss fights and even NORMAL ENEMIES, running through gorgeous areas, honestly on my first playthrough I didn't even know the Shade Cloak existed, then going back I found that my map had yet to be completed, and my game completion percentage was lower than I suspected I had found the cloak, and where you grab a single, yet missable item looked so intriguing and breath-taking, I had thought to myself "What is this thing? Why is it holding something like a mug with void stuff in it? What more is hidden within the walls of this game?" and I have yet to think that much about ANY game for such a large amount of time, that baffles me to this day, and that was only on my second playthrough! The story may seem lackluster, but this is (and pardon the review cliche) a story like Dark Souls, as in it isn't told to you directly, you have to dig deep to find out the story behind everything, and a large amount of it isn't even explained at all, and is essentially speculation. I have yet to see any bugs at all, the only thing REMOTELY resembling a bug is the old inventory bug, which i'm pretty sure has been fixed for quite a long time. The stunning music makes you wonder how life would be if more people were more friendly, and had more towns around. The amount of time you'll be spending with this game, the price is much more worth than you'd expect, and of course it's a time sink, but it is a worthy time sink. Buy this damn game, support Team Cherry, and remember, Get gud you casual.
