This game has crafting and survival aspects to it like teraria and don't starve together. It is kind of like a 2d minecraft in some aspects as well, but it has a leveling system for skills that at max don't let you pick every build, causing players to make choices for the build they want to use. So far I love the game, and I would recommend to anyone who loves the genre.

A fun and addicting game with an amazing soundtrack. I haven't played anything like it before, but I recommend it for that reason.

I loved the first Rogue Legacy, and this one has so much more to offer. It has a kind of new game+ for longevity of play, and entertaining side story as you build up your base for upgrades while exploring a random generated castle. Some areas are in the same relative positions, but the lay outs change from time to time. There are many classes and buffs that level up to give upgrades to all characters, and it's good for many hours of fun.

So unlike several people mention, there is in fact a way to fight back when you get far enough in the game. You just have to progress to make traps. But they are single use and on a timer. The game is fun, but it's super tedious until you get there. It is still tedious later, and I think it could use a lot of work to make it better, but I enjoy it so far. It is not what I expect, but I got it on sale, which I think should be the games actual price based on how unfinished it feels. I do like the idea, and the story is kind of cool though. So that's my two cents, and I do enjoy it so I recommend it, just not for everyone because I can see the aspects people are complaining about and they do exist.

TLDR

If you want a challenging game, get this game. If you hate tedious repetition and get frustrated easily, don't get this game.

By itself Space Engineers is very boring. It’s also not very fun by yourself. Luckily there is a steam workshop that has many amazing free mods to actually give it a challenge, and it’s multiplayer.

You can invite friends to play or have a hosted server so you don’t always have to be on to make the game more fun.

If you want to be a jerk you can bypass the very little skill required to gather resources and make things in creative mode, save the blueprint then make it in survival using your friends resources that they spent days getting only for your ship to be incomplete because you have no concept of the value of anything as you’ve been cheating to make anything where your friends have worked trial and error in creative mode, then wonder why your friends don’t want to play with you anymore because you wasted days of their time with your ego. (Not my experience)

But if instead you want to work as a team and gather resources with your friends and build up to the point that resources are mostly not a thing and actually understand the games economics without creative mode you can do that too.

There are even ways to program ships to go out and do stuff for you giving you an AI army to work with. (I haven’t done this, it’s a bit beyond what I have learned, but it’s an option.)

All in all, if you have cool friends to play with them it’s a great group game. So it fits many styles of play.

This game is a slower version of Rim World with less explanation. It also feels weird with how caring the world is and how 3D the characters are so it giant mesh well. It is more of my personal preference than anything. If these things don’t bother you, then by all means get the game.

This game is brings everything I miss about the Star Wars knights of the Old Republic games and puts them into an MMO. The game is great with friends, or just on your own, learning lore about the Star Wars Universe.

This game is still in early access and some of the things have changed already. It can be quite difficult with some leaders even on easy, where as others are not so much. All in all I think it is a promising game, if they continue to fix bugs and add to it. At first I couldn't beat it, but as you level up a leader it unlocks more cards for all of the leaders, so it get's easier as you play more.

I played Left 4 Dead mainly for the PvP. This gave me the same nostalgia of that with customization. You can also play as iconic characters like Michael Myers, Freddy Kruger, Ash from Evil dead, and Ghost Face.

EDIT: Just broke 2k hours in the game and though it did get pretty bad for a bit, they have done many things to make the game good again. There is just a bit of balancing issues on a few characters, but overall I still love the game.

Found this game after hearing 'Dive into the Madness' a fan-song for the game. Loved the song, and was glad the game was good after I looked it up. Its a puzzle game where you hide from the denizens of 'The Maw' as you try to escape it.
