Free Steam weekend got my bristly beard a-bristling so I strode in on my 2 2-foot legs, scratched my beard loudly to get everyone's attention then belted out something ridiculous in a Scottish or heavy British accent because, y'know, all dwarves are from there. I still contend that Nigerian, Thai and Indian subcontinent voices would suit dwarves equally because fictional beings should be race-fluid, I mean, why can't an elf play a dwarf? Why can't a red dragon play a wyvern? And why can't I play an Ayam XI? I put down my drill because these questions and more started tearing me up inside while thinking: this game has potential but it feels a bit plodding. So there's the payoff: you read through some nonsensical deluge to get to the heart of my opinion. An opinion as un-incisive as the outrage that Bill Burr exhibited in the first 10 minutes of his latest standup special that had me switching it off. There, you have now learned more of my opinion on his stand-up Netflix special than anything deep on Deep Rock Galactic. More like Shallow Review Ayam XI(I?).
