It's similar to CSGO in the sense that theres a very tactical and mechanical aspect to the game. It has a steep learning curve and theres alot that you need to know. Most important thing is experience. Much better if you have a group of friends that already play the game because Soloq is much more difficult compared to a game like CSGO. In all, if youre looking for a game/fps you can get extremely good at, considering you can put in the time, this is the game for you.

Heres the thing. Don't come into this game expecting it to be like storm. Storms a great game, and comparing it to any new naruto game will just make the new experience seem like a$$. As for the game itself, there are some very cool things and some disappointing things. It being a create your own character type rpg game where you can grind your ass off. Pulling off a good combo also feels great. The co op can get repetitive but its fun with friends. Another disappointment is that the customization is fairly limited. With a game like this, youd think that you can make your character look exactly like you always imagined. Thats not really true. Most of the customization is taking different tops/bottoms from existing characters and mixing them around. You can get different color variants, some having really cool designs, but its not how youd imagine a "Custom avatar" kind of game. This games combat, movement system, ability use is pretty unique. It has storm visuals, with its own twist on fighting classes. The PVP is a team game more than anything else, but it influences alot of play making. Winning when your down feels great. although, loosing feels pretty bad. Some moves are also only attainable through DLC so there is a "pay to win" aspect. But its not so huge that you need it. If you get good enough, it doesnt really matter what jutsu's the enemies are using. Theres a pretty nice learning curve when playing and when you get good enough, just winning duels feels amazing. Outwitting your opponent and destroying them with mechanics is a great feeling.

At the end of the day, if you want to play the naruto version of xenoverse, with a bunch of its own twists, buy it. Highly recommend getting it while its discounted, the game simply isnt worth at full price with all of the DLC.

I played this game on console when it came out. Played it all the way until about 2017 when I got my PC. Got it again on PC and although its not as active, I still get all the nostalgia out of S&D and TDM. I used to play Hardpoint, snd, and CTF on League play, and I was on a semi pro team. I will never forget this game. My favorite COD for as long as I live.
