Obviously the game is in Early Access. It's pretty much 2000s era alpha/closed beta levels of jank, but that's to be expected and I trust Fun Dog to make adjustments and updates to fix those things. People that are complaining about lag/unoptimization must not have actually paid any attention to what was mentioned in any of the pre-early access release videos from the devs. Also, complaining about the water mechanic is such a waste of time because it has been mentioned so many times by the devs early on, not to mention you didn't really need to buy the game if you didn't want to play a game with that feature. None of those reviewers have actually even experienced that mechanic because the game hasn't even been out for long enough for the mechanic to kick in. Finally, the game is fun, but I'd wait a few updates so most computers can play the game at a solid 60 FPS and the AI threat detection and spawn system is more refined.

Super interesting gameplay that leaves the way forward up to the player. I thought I'd just try the game out and see what's up, but I ended up spending 3 hours on it in one sitting, just trying to make weird potion combinations for the weirdo townspeople. When this gets fleshed out more and fully released, I think this game may turn into an obsession. I don't normally play single player games, I'm more into the PvP style stuff, but there's just something strangely satisfying about the way the interface looks and works.
