Can't find players online if you matchmake through the game it makes you play with bots and the official discord group has 1 group or less running at any time. Game defaults to easy difficulty and is essentially an on rails shooter that feels like a floaty left 4 dead 2 with bots that do not function.

This game is so much fun. In my opinion it is the best multiplayer roguelite/like to play at the moment. I really enjoy playing it with my friends although solo play has its moments too. Progressing through this game was very fun and I recommend it highly to any fans of the genre or people who have friends willing to play as well.

My only issues with it are in its lack of difficulty in the end game. Once you have all the talents even the games hardest mode (reincarnation 8) feels like a joke. This is in part due to the talent that makes you immortal while reviving and the existence of the newest character the turtle. The turtle needs a nerf badly as it feels like a strict upgrade to one of the existing characters the bird. Playing bird is literally a meme as he brings nothing to the table because of how overloaded turtles kit is.

But these issues I mentioned I have high hopes will be rectified in future updates and I still give this game my full endorsement.

Best roguelike I have ever played and best game I have played in years. Hades succeeds where other roguelikes fail in producing a great story with every bit of progress or failure voiced by a great cast. Has a great balance of challenging but fair gameplay and a progression system that keeps new runs fresh.

Beautiful immersive experience. I am glad I made the time to play it.
