Definitely the best game I've played so far this year. I had some frustration with the RNG, but the important thing is to never be solving only one puzzle at a time and to be flexible. Especially once you unlock a few of the mechanics of the game, it's possible to have runs go off on wild tangents.

Being a robot, stomping around, all that stuff is great. The game looks amazing, customising your AC is fun (up to a point...) and there seems to be plenty to do. But. The game grinds to a halt every time you hit a boss. A lot of them are effectively puzzle bosses or are extremely weak to a particular build. So the game becomes figuring out the exact build that defeats whatever boss you come up against. Of course you don't have access to every part available, so you'd better hope you've bought the exact parts you need, otherwise it's back to the main menu to either sell some parts you aren't using (and will probably need again in the future), or to grind some missions you've already done.

I've played plenty of FS games before and this is the first one that feels so limited in how you can approach it. Many previous games have had bosses with hard counters (especially Sekiro) but there you can switch your prosthetic fairly easily, or just go and explore another part of the game. AC6 expects you to spend a lot of time replaying the same missions over and over, either to grind enough cash to buy all the parts you need, or going back and forward between your current mission and the shop. And it just sucks all of the fun out of the game.

Nice graphics and music, but honestly I don't think the game really respects your time. Most of the writing is kind of incomprehensible (feeling like it's been google translated from spanish and then punched up with some catholic jargon), and most of the voice acting is pretty average with a lot of it feeling quite 'one take only'.

Good, although lacks a lot of the more interesting aspects of roguelikes. There's not a lot of build variety and quite a few traps you can fall into. You don't tend to see too many artefacts or upgrade items across a run and many of what you do see are fairly inconsequential. But the general gameplay is good and the game runs pretty well (at least for me).

Generally decent although it starts to drag towards the back end, both in terms of gameplay and story. The game seems to be continuously rebalanced which is good, but you might have a drastically different experience depending on when you play the game (and how it happens to be balanced when you do). Overall doesn't quite live up to its promise but still worth a play through.

Generally good although maybe a touch pricey (I finished it in around 4.5 hours). The presentation and style are great, and some interesting puzzles and twists. A couple of later puzzles start to lose the thread a little but overall good.

Some good ideas and interesting story but overall overwritten and very flat in terms of gameplay.
