A great concept, I would not recommend to people who aren't used to early access. Right now, the game is in it's very early stages of development and you can feel and see it in game. The biggest issue many people talk about right now is the water situation, water in this game is a vital resource that has the potential to wipe your inventory if you do not upkeep, the biggest issue with this is that it ticks down even when you're not playing, that can be easily fixed to only be affected during play instead of real life time. Water in-game is easily obtainable. Enemy spawns are also very crude right now, you will see enemies spawn before your eyes and I've even had them spawn on top of me, ruining a run. Animations are kind of clunky for the AI and their AI is not as good as it should be, you will sometimes see them all getting stuck on things. Certain loot disappears too fast, like drone parts which is needed for a mission. Movement in this game feels sluggish and slow, you'll notice this when trying to look around. They should really add a freelook. The best things about this game despite it being in such an early stage is the atmosphere. The landscapes are a dark and war torn environment, the character designs are really cool, being in the middle of a literal battlefield as bullets fly over your head is awesome. Overall, I love this game although it still has a long way to go.

Don't buy, game is not complete and abandoned.

Before you buy this game, you must understand what kind of game this is and look at the art style to see if it appeals to you. Those two things seem like the biggest issues in negative reviews.

I would personally recommend this game. I like the art style, it's different and cartoon like while having a lot of cool detail to it. I would agree, there still is issues. I myself haven't encountered a lot of bugs yet but the issues the dev is able to see and fix is usually done pretty quick. The parts I like most about this game is watching your ship launch the drop pods to your selected destination and having little missions to do instead of just trying to unlock a tech tree. Your colonists which are clones are also able to unlock traits, which I think is pretty cool and you are able to slot upgrades into them. There is also a tutorial, which I think everyone should do, whether you know how to play colony sim games or not already because I play A LOT of colony sim games and the tutorial really explained a lot to me because of how different this game is. I do feel like the tutorial needs more work though because there are still aspects of the game which are not explained. DEV, if you read this, I think you should add more tool tips to icons! Some things don't need a whole tutorial, and tool tips when hovering the cursor over it could explain it well enough. Also, the AI in the game still is not perfect but it works most of the time, so don't give up on the game because a few issues. I'm sure it takes a lot more time to test and fix those types of issues. I still feel like there is a lot more potential to be unlocked in this game but I am already having so much fun playing it. I have played this game for a whole day and only scratched the surface and I'm excited to discover the rest of this awesome game!

Really fun game with great mechanics. I was able to beat the game in a single day but it was just the right amount of game play and wasn't too long. If they make a Vanquish 2 I would pick it up.

I would only recommend this game if you can run it well. The DX12 build for the game runs much better. I can get over 60fps with everything maxed, even in towns. The game environment looks very nice, it's really cool to just take a relaxing walk through the mutant infested forests or walk through towns and take in the surroundings. The animations during dialogue look unnatural sometimes, some characters hair looks stiff. I do like the combat, it feels good. I'm taking the game very slow and I am enjoying the story right now, the quest log can be kind of confusing looking. Actually I hate the whole UI for managing inventory and character elements, hopefully they can work on that. I'd also recommend getting some mods.

I highly recommend this game to anyone who enjoys mech games like armored core or EDF games because this is literally a mix of the two and it's amazing. I was debating if the price of the game was worth it and just decided to give it a go and damn I am impressed. This game is a lot of fun! The mech customization is pretty good, you can change out different types of head, body, arms, waist and legs. For weapons there's L/R arms and shoulder and then you have other active and passive attachments you can put on that give you stat boosts and even turrets you can place down! The missions are quite impressive too and I was surprised that all the lines are voiced. There's quite a lot of variations in weapons, enemies and missions which keep it really exciting! I haven't finished the game yet so I can't write a full review of the whole game but I am really enjoying it so far. I've ran into a few issues that can be easily fixed but nothing game breaking. I hope the dev will address them as they're small issues but should greatly improve the game. I am excited to see what else will be added to this!

Another Kickstarter game failure, I've been through a lot of Kickstarter game failures, so I know the risk unlike a lot of others. I understand and I already knew this game was going to die when they had the first set of bad news come out about the game development slowing down. Once that happens with any new game, it either means the game will die or is already dead. Nothing could have saved it already. I did have a lot of fun during the early days with everyone that backed the game and will only have good memories of this game. Thank you for all the time and energy put into Pantropy. It will always have a special place in my steam library of games I wish never failed. I wish everyone luck in their next journey!

Really fun game that makes my body moist.

The game play is slow paced and can get your adrenaline pumping when you encounter other players or while trying to extract with a bounty. If you like sneaking around hunting players or just zombies, I'd recommend this. You're not even forced to fight other players or track down bounty targets, although you may encounter them, you can just kill zombies and sneak around for XP. It's quite fun stalking other players, setting up traps, catching them on fire or messing with them. Your "hunter" the character you play also only has 1 life. Once they die, they're gone. So it adds another level of intensity while you play.

I'll start with the good. The game has great customization for the mech and weapons, you can pretty much customize every part of the mech. You also make your own weapons pretty much by putting weapon parts together, it's usually the handle and blade/barrel. The graphics are nice and the game runs smoothly.

The bad things that I personally don't like about this game is the movement and combat in this game. I find it quite horrible. Melee and shooting feels very clunky. I feel like this game is only good to build a cool looking mech and the only reason to play it is to unlock the parts. You can fly in this game, but there's really no point as most of the maps are so small and you don't have a good amount of control while flying, you can also only fly for a few seconds. There's also no gliding across the ground in this like in Armored Core, you run around or boost and you can't boost for long because your energy supply is so low. If you've played any great mech games before like Armored Core and are looking for a fix, this isn't it.

I'm not even sure if they plan to fix how clunky this game feels. They're always adding new weapons and stuff but I wouldn't want to use them anyways with how bad the combat is in the game. If they made combat and movement feel more fluid and smooth, this game would be much much better. Sadly I think this is how it will stay though.
