I am going to be honest if you don't like this game, then you just aren't a fan of jrpgs. Final fantasy 7 -XII represent the golden age of square enix and are basically all must plays if you are a fan of the genre. On top of that, all of those games except Final Fantasy XII are on steam at great prices. If you want great stories, amazing music, addictive minigames, and to see the evolution of a company in terms of CGs that is as good or better than blizzard, then buy these games, and give square enix your support and hope that FF XV is a return to the glory that the franchise deserves.
