This series has one of the most dedicated modding communities out there, which helps it alot due to the buggy and often unbalanced nature of the vanilla game. Worth your money, but I'd be disrespecting the series as a whole not to mention S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Anomaly, a free standalone addon that merges the levels, assets, and much more of all three games into one, updating the engine to x64 in the process and doing so with a level of stability that I am able to pile nearly 70 addons on top of said addon with no crashing. Yes, NO crashing. Buy this game if you're new to the series, avoid Clear Sky, Shadow of Chernobyl is a timeless classic, yada yada. Truly an experience no game to date has managed to properly capture.
