It's Armored Core. If you like third-person action games and the idea of customizing and piloting a gundam-style mecha appeals to you, you should try it. It's got a steep learning curve and is a bit of an acquired taste, but it's extremely well polished and does exactly what it sets out to do. My only complaint personally is that it's not as massive as I would like, but there's still plenty of game here.

A fun twinstick roguelite with good art and solid gameplay. The Co-Op is well implemented and it's near top-of-class if you want a co-op game in this genre.

Early Access Review
Put a dozen or so hours in over the last few days since picking this up, highly recommend it. Core gameplay is tried and true and the systems surrounding it are just a delight. Builds are incredibly diverse and it's super satisfying watching one come together. Nice and difficult as well, I've only had one run get past what I assume is the current final boss. Gives me a similar feeling to what I felt with Slay the Spire or Dead Cells early access: a solid design executed with care. Excited to see what's to come!

If you are willing to put in the time, Monster Hunter is a game that will keep you coming back over and over again. World is the most fluid iteration of the series to date and while it lacks the sheer volume of content of some of the older, omnibus releases, there's plenty here with more on the way. It's not an easy game, but it's a deep, rewarding one. One that I highly recommend.

Card Quest is a hidden gem. While not the most visually appealing game, once you sink your teeth into it you quickly get past the dated graphical style and get sucked into one of the most mechanically satisfying games out there. The devs have done an amazing job at capturing the feel and "power fantasy" of the various classes and subclasses. Even something as simple as swapping from one Fighter weapon to another dramatically changes how you play and makes for an extremely enjoyable experience as you experiment with different builds. There is also a surpising amount of content to get through and things to unlock. Highly recommended.

Where the heck did this come from? A great action-roguelite that is a blast to play, satisfyingly challenging, and has surprising depth. Definitely worth a look if you enjoy games like Binding of Isaac, Dead Cells, or the like. Also has co-op, although it's local only for now.

The game itself is an extremely fun combination of the properties. I think as far as being a Total War game or being a Warhammer game, Total War: Warhammer does an excellent job at both. Honestly the main area to find fault is with the DLC, which is fair enough. For me, while the pricing is a bit steep, it's relatively fair if compared to common f2p offerings ($18 for a whole faction+mini-campaign is less than some skins in the popular f2p mobas). If you have an interest in either Total War or Warhammer, I'd have to recommend this game. Just get the base game if the DLC doesn't agree with you, there's more there than many other $60 games even without the DLC.

If you like 4x games, Amplitude deserves your money. Heck, if you don't know if you like 4x games, Amplitude games are a great place to start. Amplitude is a great studio that is highly responsive to its users and makes fun, engaging games to boot. Endless Legend is a fresh take on the genre and combines relative (for the genre) ease of entry with satisfying depth and engaging systems. Highly recommended.

A gem of a MOBA, BLC was a ridiculously fresh take on the genre. Even today it's a super innovative game, focused on small scale, high skill based arena combat. The art style is eclectic and distinctive, adding to the games' charm. If MOBA's are your thing, or you just have fond memories of War3 Hero Arena's, definitely give BLC a shot. It seems to be on an upswing now that the developer has taken full control, so now is a great time to get into it!
