I really enjoyed this game for a very long time. It's addictive, and the community can be vibrant. But with all the constant paid expansions that seem to add very little in the realm of replay, I have to break up with this game.

I'm spending hundreds of dollars a year in this game, only to take a break and not be able play content because I need to spend another $60 + season pass for the game.

I think I'm around $500 deep after silver purchase, season passes, and DLC— and that's very frustrating.

THE GAME DOES AN EXCELLENT JOB CAPTIVATING MY ATTENTION IN ITS EVENTS— Also my wallet, and that's the problem.

You can start this game today for probably $80. You'll look cool, feel cool, and enjoy yourself. But you'll have to buy this game several times over with every expansion release being the full price of the game, plus more with the season passes.

Just avoid it and play splitgate.

If you enjoyed the DOS franchise this game is for you. It's a great throwback to the Baldurs Gate I grew up with playing with my friends.

It IS esrly access, however I'm 30 hours in and still haven't reached the end of the narrative. The gameplay is fun and familiar, the visuals are beautiful, and the character development of your party is immersive. I throughly enjoy the character sheets being 5th edition conversions. It's easy to grasp, fun to play, hard to put down.

Great job Larian! Looking forward to the finished game, especially Act II.
