In a day and age where most AAA titles are just average and don’t invoke the same kind of feelings that games from the past did, I played expedition 33 and was overwhelmed by how amazing it was, as it had been years since I experienced something that good, and I thought it would take another few years before I experienced something like that again.

Enter Death Stranding. I got the game one year after release on PS but never played it as I’ve heard things like “you just walk, it gonna be so fkn boring” etc etc

I got it on PC late last year started it but dropped it after 5 mins, this year I saw the 10 min trailer of death stranding 2 and it took me back in time, I was 19 when the first death stranding trailer dropped and the plot always seemed very intriguing I turned 28 this year and because of DS2 I decided to give DS1 a try

This game is fkn insane, it’s more of an experience than a game, I think a lot of people drop it cause of the gameplay, but I honestly loved the gameplay the whole connecting cities and everything,

Before every mission, it was always very tactical on what I wanted to carry and what I didn’t, how I plan my route, do I avoid the enemies or do I go through them depending on what I’m carrying as much as there were enemies the terrain was also one of them as I wanted to make sure every cargo I delivered was in perfect condition.

And then there’s the plot, I don’t even know what to say and I don’t have the words to say, I would just throw all words of praises towards this games story I have never experienced anything on this level. The mocap, the animations the acting, everything is just peak fiction, initially I had so many questions, as the plot moved forward I was getting my answers but not to everything, but as it kept moving forward I continued getting my answers and towards the end of the game I had a lot of my questions answered, but STILL I had more questions and then things happen, what the ♥♥♥♥ man, this is PEAK FICTION unlike anything I’ve ever experienced, this is more than a game, this is by far one of the greatest experiences of my life

HIGHLY RECOMMEND, just go play it

One of the greatest trilogies ever, just play it, coming up on 20 years in 2 years, i was 10 years old and it feels like yesterday and now im 28 and very few games get close to one of these three, but when all 3 are considered these 3 games stand the test of time for the most part, 2 and 3 are still extremely good in all regards, 1s story is peak, but the gameplay has aged quite bad, desperately needs a remake

what an insanely good port, runs so well at DLAA and MFG X4 i was averaging over 400fps, had to turn MFG to x2 as my monitor caps out at 240, and even at x2 im hitting over 270fps, wouldve been insane if it performed this well just at DLSS Quality, but all of this at native res is mind blowing, from a tech pov this is how games should be optimized, i wouldnt be suprised if this runs well over 60fps on a 1060 at 1080p using the second highest preset, native ultrawide support, HDR support, DLSS4 support, 10/10 port

Only 10 hours in and the story and the cinematics, the dialogue writing, graphics and combat and everything is peak
