Unlike the first game, this one cannot decide what it wants to be, so it decides to mix a bunch of genres, but doesn't bother to flesh them out enough. This game isn't worth playing even if you find it on sale.

Game controls are really bad on keyboard + mouse, and after the first dungeon, there's nothing to guide you to your next objective so you end up going around in circles hoping to find what you have to do next or be forced to use a guide. I got this on sale and now I wish I hadn't.

This is a game only meant for completionists that loke janky grindfests, and even then it'll take some site surfing to be able to obtain all of the achievements since the guides aren't that helpful.

awful combat mechanics just like all of PiranhaBytes games

A bit too expensive for how short it is, but the game isn't bad.

First part of the game's alright, but the dream world section requires redoing puzzles just so that the dream snowballs are in the correct place, and that's just way too much time to waste.

Doesn't feel like you're actually doing things, but rather suggestions. the people also running around screaming without being able to influence where to run towards also sucks.

This game had some serious gameplay bugs reported years ago, and they're still not fixed to this day. Even if you ignore the fact that the game has a bunch of bugs, the game's still pretty boring overall. Don't bother getting this metroidvania even if it's cheap.

The game's serviceable for it's price, but it does have some problems. My main concerns are that a good chunk of the levels have ice physics which make jumping from one gap or small platform to another really difficult and levels end up taking a lot longer than they need to in my opinion. Some of the sprites used for the platforms and walls can also be confusing in you're not paying attention. Also, what's the point of the minigame? I beat the game on Normal only picking up the in-stage powerups so this last point's more of a nitpick.

I'll recommend the game with the caution of "AT LEAST 15 OF THE 50 LEVELS HAVE ICE PHYSICS AND THERE'S NONSENSICAL ACHIEVEMENTS"
