Its.. ok. It was probably great, and is great if it was your first game, but I played Beyond Citadel before this and it just cant compare. I mainly bought this to support the dev and try to learn more lore. But Beyond Citadel is just too amazing

Base building? Better

Fun game, Im just not good at it. Way better with friends, especially one who does all the carpentry and base building for you(I still dont understand how to build a home or farm)

Ignore my hours. I played this game religiously growing up on the ps2 portable.
I will also clarify I have never played or completed Chrono Trigger, so I cant vouch for this as a "sequel." But from what I've heard in other reviews, this is a Amazing game, but a sub-par "Sequel."
So from a view point of just Chrono cross as a game, not a continuation, I have to give this game a 10/10, yes i'm totally biased because I played this game since I was like 4 years old and on, but everything is just perfect, I love all of the story, all of the combat, all the secrets and dozens of endings, all the companions, skills, weapons, crafting, branching story paths, just all of it. And this game has always been beautiful for its time, the cut scenes, music, art, all of it makes me emotional to this day.

Honestly phenomenal game. I'm not a huge fan of the Metoridvania genre, never have been, never grew up playing any of the originals either. But something about this game is just amazing. (No its not 100% because of pretty anime girls)
I love the shard and "Magic" system, the boss fights are fun, I LOVE the music, the character customization is fantastic as well, the lore, and the weapons are all fun. Oh and the easter eggs, there are so many, so many cross overs, "Secondary" stories you can do as other characters and its all just great.
Still trying to find the last .5% of the map im missing.

Yes. Just yes, Amazing game. Lore, gun play, all of it. It just needs to be longer. A game can't be this good and yet so "Short." I hunger for more.
Never played the first game, lore is pretty confusing at times. But from what i've gathered and understand so far, its super interesting. I really hope there will be a third game, But I guess I'll have to give the first one a try now.

First off, I do wish to clarify, I have seen most of the negative reviews for the game are based off of performance of visual errors/frame rate issues, and while that may be true for most I do personally have a beast of a Custom PC so these never happened for me. So ignoring that whole side of issues that may still exist, I can say this game is a solid.. maybe 7/10.

I personally love, and have grown up with Avatar on repeat, and love WotW just the same, so this game, walking out of the starting facility and seeing the world of Pandora and all the Flora and Fauna true to the film, was a whimsical experience I can barely explain in any way other than perfect. The story on the other hand, at first it was OK, I watched most of the cut scenes and such, but by the time I got to the resistance HQ and met the rest of the cast it just.... didn't click for me at least. The story might have improved or gotten better further on into the game, but I already lost interest and started skipping all the cut scenes. Riding the Ikran is perfect, another dream come true for a kid growing up watching Avatar. The combat is.. solid to say the least. Nothing amazing, not horrible. Its interesting trying to mix your build with guns and bows, or just using Na'vi weapons at least. Hunting and gathering is yet another... decently OK area of the game. Its fun at first but once you are actually trying to farm for perfect gear, and you have to get the clean perfect kills on predators that are chasing you, and don't die in one hit(Like a Thanator) honestly just sucks. I am yet to get perfect quality for any of the big predators and its pretty infuriating at times.

All in all, the game is solid, amazing for Avatar lovers, and ok for a gamer, nothing ground breaking, nothing atrocious either.
(Also, micro-transactions in a Single player game for cosmetics is just... stupid)

Yes

This game is phenomenal. Don't get me wrong, this ABSOLUTELY is an early access game, not specifically because of bugs(As far as I have noticed, some basic AI issues and an occasional T-pose), but crashing. Oh my gosh the crashing. You'll load in 3 times and crash before the world even opens, crash once more when you actually can see the world, crash when you try to move for the first time, then it runs fine for a while before crashing again. I'm sure there will be fixes for it soon but its a bit of an issue. (This was my own fault, there were issues with i9-13th gen CPU's. Game hasn't crashed for me once now that the BIoS issues were updated)

This game is great, sure "Pokemon" with guns, but they're just creatures resembling Pokemon, nothing else about the game is similar to Pokemon besides the Spheres. There is no trainer battles, no cities, etc. This is much more similar to an Ark:SE type game, I loved Ark when I first discovered it but after a couple dozen hours I just couldn't stand how long everything took, taming things and hatching eggs for hours. This game is so much more fast-paced and single-player able so you don't need clans to do decent.

Overall, amazing game, can't wait to see more Pals, buildings, fights, and overall development. I'm sure this game will have an amazing future!

Been an enjoyer since launch, and I have to say the game has just improved in everyway after countless updates. Story, dlc, gigs, character creation, all of it is just amazing.
