Typical combo attack single player game with "cool" moments. If you like being "awesome" in a utter despair of "western" without any kind of real challenge, than yea ... this is the game for you.

Attacks with melee feels pretty good, but if you like guns just a little and wanted to play a western game with western guns, then it is not the game for you. The guns in the game is just a side option you have to further your basic attacks and combos. The guns themselves has no (to little) dmg at all, which just forces you to focus on the melee combos.

Thought myself the setting with the wild west and this evil, almost cult like zombie thing would be good, just like Hunt: Showdown or RDR Undead expansion, but it is just taken too far that there are almost no element of western setting anymore, other than the stereotypical western "coolness" which sacrifices the overall old west in general. Examples as train robberies, shooting bottles for pratice, swinging like Indiana Jones with a whip, and having a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ gauntlet with electric blast??!?!

It seems like the devs could not find enough cool or aewsome things in the western setting in general, that they actually had to make that ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ gauntlet to make up for it, what a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ joke.

Story wise, there is almost nothing, the story is the most hollow thing ive ever heard. The plot so far is just, there is bad dudes that are evil and disgusting, and now we kill them all while looking cool and spitting out some corny, and laughable bad jokes here and there.

Thank god this game is over steam so I could get my refund

But yea, TLDR, if you work a miserable life working 9-5 jobs, comes home and want to have no challanges, just want to be satisfied while looking cool with absolutely no story and you have seen one spaghetti western you thought was cool, than yea play this ♥♥♥♥ you garbage human.

Tho there are alot of issues with framerate in the game, they have to optimise this game alot.
I got a 3080 and a 5800x and i still get 50-60 frames and some stages ...

I preordered just the day before lunch, and damn this game is good. In the start I thought it was a bit clunky, but the immersion and graphics are really good. Therefore I kept playing. After some time I really enjoy this game, when you get to know stuff.

I would recommend playing with friends or a platoon. When you play lone wolf it can be vary frustrating and irretating.

Overall:
- great game
- graphics good
- not to big map, (compared to fx: Arma and Post Scriptum), so you can easily get around on foot. Tho It could still be nice to get some Jeeps in the game.

I played the ArmA 2 Mod in 2012 and it was really great, now i have bought it in 2013 and I'm still playing the game, it's funny, but you have to be patiant with the game, it's still pre - alpha mode.
Since 2013 the DayZ team have done alot to the game.
- They added automobils, a Truck (V3S) and a car
- Many new weapons like the AUG, SVD and the VVS
- and much more i can't remember ...

If you like roleplaying like i do, is it also pretty fun to talk with your new friend/Enemy.
