I'm doing my part o7.

Sony,
You are causing some of my fellow Helldivers to lose access to the game they have had for several months. This undemocratic behavior will not be accepted. Report to your nearest Democracy Officer.

If you have an intrest in programming then this game will be for you! You use Javascript to control your characters (up to 4, 3 "farmers" and 1 merchant who cannot attack). It is very satisfying programing my characters to automatically handle all of their needs, from buying potions, to what mobs to farm, the limit is what you can code. The community is amazing at helping you out with any snag you might run into coding, many even have public repos for you! Early access means that many features are yet to come, but a good framework of the game is in place. No worries of quests or handholding, just program your characters to do whatever you want!

Comparing the videos and interviews of what the game was supposed to be to what we got it absolutely depressing.

Giant space battles!?!? Nope, not in the game.

Factions that matter? Choices and decisions? Nah, not here.

Billions of unique planets. 255 variations or so, also no desert planets.

Physics based universe. You can see other planets from the surface of another planet. Bit close. Oh, the stars are just part of the skybox too, so no adventuring there.

Greatly suggested multiplayer? It's not there. It isn't turned off, it just doesn't exist.

3 alien races for the entire galaxy (plus whatever you are). They just happen to have a single space station and planets filled with outposts in every single system of the universe. No unclaimed land here.

Poor optimization, horrid flight controls for a pc port.

Please don't buy this.

The game has come a long way and this review is long over due. While I do not think the original marketing/idea of the game ever truly came to light, the game has improved massively over time and is worth your time. Their dedication to fixing the game is to be commended.

Probably the closest game to Baulder's Gate we will get. I loved every bit of it.

It's free.

Art style of Roblox, game play like Rust/DayZ. IT fun and worth a play. Updated daily it seems like (sometimes multiple times a day!)

Baulder's Gate mixed in with turn based rpg fun. There is a "surface" system, where the ground can be covered in various substances (oil, water, blood, fire, poison etc.) and they each react to different elements. So cast a spell to place oil around your enemies then light it up with a fireball for massive damage. Classless, chose and build your characters however you want. Co-Op is available through steam (steam integration ftw!), LAN or direct connect.

The game starts off rather badly paced, but picks up greatly. One of the best games I've played in a while.
