I bought it on a whim, thinking it would get better with time.
Meanwhile the software is still lacking major functionality and they change to yearly release model making my license obsolete.

I've used it for an hour, They won't give me refund and I can't hope for 2025 update to make this software suck a bit less.

This is a hard Pass. Devs are getting an L from me.

Game is good... when you get to play.
So far it's a waiting in line for last hotdogs on earth simulator.
Amazon doesn't give a bull's left ball about EU region.
All servers are full and there are 20k queues.
I literally can't play when I get home off work at the rate this is going.

The 4th wall break is funny to me.
Graphics are stylized and it's pleasant to look at.
Gameplay is fun, not overly complex and yet satisfying.
I personally enjoy the story even if it's not the main focus of the game.
Dialogues are the best. It's clearly the main focus right after the gameplay. Narrator is the best.

This game is like Rock Paper Scissors. I love it.

As far as LEGO games go it's a good game but in comparison to other games out there this is a cashgrab, an unfinished game full of messy bugs. LEGO cannot make games. Their engine is outdated and ♥♥♥♥♥♥. Players would be happier if they would make REAL open world LEGO game with regular camera. At times it even runs like crap on my gaming PC.

For the 15$ it's an awesome game. It's mainly PvP although in the next few months there will be PvE content release. The way you can combo your moveset is appealing to some, I just go with the current meta for the style I enjoy in the moment. There are 4 styles as of now where each style has a different special ability. There is Absorb attack. Block based on direction of attack. Dodge based on direction of attack and forth is drunken dodge/attack gimmick. There are weapons and movesets for them aswell. I simplistic low-poly games so artstyle of this one is more than appealing to me. Runs just fine for most pcs. Try it for yourself you can always refund if under 2 hours. As for me I can reccomend this game.

Artstyle/map
-This game has the single most stunning artstyle I've ever seen in a videogame. Im in love with it so much that I want to
start drawing simple bug characters myself. Now for the map. I myself cheated a little bit looking up map online and going by that map but for explorers this game is perfect. You find a new skill and suddenly you realize you have to go throughout all the maps again to find it's secrets you couldn't reach before.

Soundtrack
-I don't remember a game that had so well matched soundtracks for a each and every map. Whether you enter creepy
Deepnest or calming Fungawastes/Greenpath the music sits just right to where you are and what you're doing.

Gameplay/combat
-It's simple, responsive controls relies on your skill and that's what's great about it. You have 4 ways slash along with some spells later on in game and charms that upgrade your abilities so you can be a battlemage or swordsman or both depends how well you tweak your build. (You can even be mamma to all kings of little bugs you want there is build for everything)

Conclusion.
I have nothing bad to say about this game. So far every decision Team cherry has made in development of this game has been spectacular! I can find anything to bash a game at nearly any one. Things that could've been easily changed and lazy devs not doing it cuz... well they're lazy. But that's not the case with Hollow Knight. So far enjyoing the game and it's content hoping for more in the future. I love every bit and pixel of it.

P.S: I think that this game has great potential for co-op and maybe even PVP but unfortunately that would be impossible since this game was developed with singleplayer and story in mind so doors for online playing are closed. Devs would have to make tremendous effort to include co-op in this game.

Depending on what hero Im choosing the different color my mouse LEDs have, If I scroll onto Random it's flashing all colors.
What's next? I would guess my case busts open and gpu slaps me across the face.

Even tho this game was a hit when it came out I was overlooking it till now. I got it from Humble Bundle and Im completely hooked. It's purest form of RPG. Combat is challenging and fun. It's skillbased so you could kill some of the bosses even naked with bare hands but upgrading your found gear and weapons is making progressing in the game easier ofcourse. Co-op system is handy when you need help with bosses. Overall I give this game 9/10 Didn't have any rage yet.
