Fun survival game to play with friends, great improvement over the first one. Some of my favorite features are the building, crafting, and looting/exploring.

I've played the series throughout it's lifespan, I think this is a remarkable remaster. It's a true testament to the original game and the dev's appreciation of risk of rain and its fans. The balance between being challenged and being rewarded is well executed. As far as rougelike games go, this one is undoubtedly worth $15.

Such a fantastic game, even better with a committed group of friends. You'll have a hard time finding a game just as good for the price they sell it at, especially with the amount of work the devs put into it. There's a tremendous amount of content which allows for lots of replay value. I find myself coming back to it after a year or two of not playing and exploring the new updates and uncovering things I didn't experience prior. The progression comes fairly naturally as you discover the world and find new items, but having the wiki open and reading about the game gives you a significant advantage. To me, this like a default PC game everyone should have in their library, it's not for everyone, but its definitely worth a try.
