Borderlands 2 is ABSOLUTELY SUPERIOR to Borderlands 1. With improved visuals, improved NPCs, improved reward/challenge systems, and MUCH more quests/guns than ever before you are TRULY getting a complete package here of EPIC proportions. Borderlands 2 is pretty much a larger, more varied world with twists, surprises, and laughs at every turn!

And, as much as I cannot believe it, this game actually has a GREAT STORY on top of the fun, addictive, loot-hoarding gameplay! Wow, just wow!

Get Borderlands 2 right away, it is truly the "magnum opus" of Gearbox Software!

Alice is a brilliant action/adventure game that is epic and CANNOT be completed in one sitting. Stunning visuals compliment an already striking artstyle that is often unsettling and even disturbing sometimes. There are even some genuinely SCARY moments in this game. The only real flaw Alice has is that it can feel a BIT repetitive or even a bit copy-paste at times, but so far I am thoroughly impressed by this beautiful descent into a maddening, demented Wonderland!

Alice: Madness Returns is far worth the current price or ANY price, and then some, considering how much playtime this game will give you!

Although Doom 3: BFG Edition brings a lot of welcome improvements and changes to one of my most favorite first person shooters, it is quite likely many of you already own the Doom series on Steam. You also might already own the Master Levels which are NOT included in this otherwise fantastic collection.

The Lost Mission for Doom 3 is pretty damn awesome, especially if it was created so recently. As a lover of Doom 3, this new quest is a fantastic addition which helps bolster this collection further. It has the qaulity that many original Doom 3 mission mods don't have. But that's just the thing, it does'nt look like it will have mod support for some ludicrous reason. So stick with the originals if you prefer modding Doom 3. Otherwise, I was fine scrapping the original in favor of this solid remake!

Doom 3: BFG Edition overall is a good collection and a great entry point for those new to the series. Go buy it if you love Doom!

Darksiders 2 is an amazing game that is polished almost to a mirror shine. Regardless of the clunky yet forgiven console port missteps, this game has finally become something truly great. Patches have long since fixed the majority of issues to make this console port SHINE on PC! (I reccomend playing this game with a Xbox 360 controller on your PC.) However, some issues linger, such as with the game crashing after playing for a good bit.

It is tough to describe this game without comparing it to other games. That's not due to lack of originality, but due to the fact that it so seemlessly blends genres into what can be only described as a mix between Casltevania: Symphony of the Night RPG elements, Zelda-like world exploration/backtracking for secrets, God of War hack n slash action, and platforming elements from Prince of Persia.

Darksiders 2 blends of all these genres together to create an addictive, epic, beautiful, loot-filled adventure that is worth every penny, especially on sale!

Once again, this is a game that is BETTER and WORSE in plenty of ways.

The combat is awkward, stilted, and the animations do NOT flow evenly especially when trying to chain abilities together. It's not fast, fluent, or intense like in Diablo 3. Why is it so difficult to make it so I don't have to constantly click on enemies to attack? Why can't I just HOLD down the mouse button to attack one enemy after the other? Is that REALLY so hard to impliment? The combat IS fun, but it really just feels awkward.

Otherwise, Torchlight 2 is a huge improvement over the previous game. There is far more loot, far more monsters to slay, far more dungeons, far more quests to undertake, and huge varied places to explore. Everything else is immensely improved, despite you having to carry around so many Identify or Town Portal scrolls still.

This game, in the end, is a fantastic game that is an insane deal for only a mere $20.00!

RAGE... now this is a tough one.

The debacle with John Carmack has left PC gamers reeling, and many are still feeling too bitter to repair their Metascore ratings. That rating is mostly undeserved. For now, forgetting Mr. Carmack's transgressions is key to enjoying RAGE. It is now fixed, polished, and all if not most of the bugs/issues are gone. Here's why the game is great now, and worth the price:

The game's graphics are the most amazing visuals I've ever seen, running at the 60 frames it promises; which is a rare achievement considering other games failed to deliver graphics that are this accessible yet stunningly gorgeous! The character designs and animations are also bursting with personality, bringing this breathtaking wasteland world to life. The fantastic id Tech 5 engine has shown us exactly what it can do! Despite a few strange low resolution textures hampering the otherwise lovely visuals.

Now, the weapons are more than they seem. We're presented, at first, with a very boring pistol. Probablly one of the worst pistols in gaming, especially when coupled with the scope "attachment" that doesn't fit the game's clear design towards close quarters combat. Afterwards, you get much better guns that are much more fun to use, such as the shotgun. The weapons all have a ton of varying ammo types as well, allowing for a myriad of tactical options during battle, or multiple ways to use your favorite gun.

The gameplay, in many ways, is also meant to be more like a hybrid of tactical combat and classic shooter goodness. Taking cover IS essential, but it's not entirely neccesary. To maximize fun factor, try to run and gun from cover to cover, or walk while aiming down the sights during combat. RAGE is a game that encourages you to use all your items and things at your disposal during battle, rather than falling into the habit of dominant strategy. The gameplay, then, will shine and stop being supposedly "boring" as some people seem to think. Which I understand, but RAGE is clearly meant to not be played in "dominant strategy mode". Run, gun, and take cover while shooting and aiming fast to enjoy this game more!

Now, the story. It's nothing to write home about, but the style and setting breathes life into this tale (The characters themselves are also great.). The silent main character is clearly meant to be "you" in many ways, so immerse yourself and get lost in the world of RAGE! The story will help move you along.

However, the transgressions of the past cannot be forgotten. RAGE was terrible at launch due to game breaking bugs and awful performance problems. Even now, the menus still have awful mouse acceleration problems, and the pervasive health regeneration will annoy you. It's way too easy to die, and some enemies move way too fast in battle. Just make sure you have plenty of bandages on you, and use them often, to rectify these problems in combat. Also, I am sure the multiplayer is dead too, making it another pointless addition and pulled resources that could of made RAGE better. The co-op, however, is awesome, so play that with a friend!

RAGE, is worth way more than its current price. But it wasn't at launch. It's a great game, but sadly, it is merely great. It isn't anything truly mindblowing like we expect from id Software. Get RAGE now, if you are a big fan of shooters like myself! RAGE will keep you occupied for hours with tons of content!
