Bloober Team, I'll admit when the announcement was made on the remake, I feel as a fanbase we all had levels of concern on how this remake would be presented; An insult to a fanbase who have waited years for an instalment of the series?? On what level??. I don't think there were many who had high expectations, only a degree of hopefulness we may have just a serviceable experience.. however after my time with the remake, I can only say; Bloober Team I'm sorry for the extreme reservations.

The remake has hit all the notes which I'd personally hoped, a faithful remake with tweaks just keeping us fans on our feet, a nod throughout towards the original. New lore inserted which doesn't detract from the original nor being unfaithful, the little added surprisingly gives context on certain story elements whilst still leaving room for questions.
