Developers knew you would love the game so they made it crash near the end of long sequences where you can't so you get to play them a second time! Great RPG. Honestly don't mind playing some of the dungeons twice.

Performance is atrocious. 4070TI super, 64 GB ram, and Ryzen 9 on just "high end" settings for a whopping 4 FPS. When you do manage to get good FPS, it is not stable and you will get random lag spikes. If this happens in the middle of a critical maneuver, you have crashed as it seems to rapidly repeat the last input when lagging - so if you are turning and it lags, you turn into the ground.

Controller use is completely broken. Every time the game is started, different buttons do not work in battle - most of the time the attack and jump buttons. 4 hours of game play at review writing is just trying to get the controller working properly. Also changing the button mapping in game does not work. Must try changing the buttons in Steam's settings.

When you can play, the game crashes every time you get an achievement. Every boss must be beaten twice since they seem linked to an achievement. Better hope you don't unlock a trophy far from a save point.

Do you enjoy random battles? How about random battles literally every single step? That happens sometimes int his game. And no I don't mean there is a dungeon that happens in, I mean sometimes you will just walk out of town and immediately get into a battle, get into another battle in another step, and then a 3rd battle on your single step back into town to heal. No joke. Also, RNG doesn't seem to be a thing in the game? I saved the game in an area and when I reload it, after 5 steps I always get into a battle with the same 3 enemies that always do the same attack pattern and always kill me. Literally impossible to proceed due to RNG for random battles or how battles proceed. Hours of progress lost due to bad programming.

Game crashes while saving and deletes all saves. Not worth the purchase if you cannot finish the game. This is a known defect since September 2016 and still not fix.

Day 1. Rowed my raft to closest island. Not much on it. Got a few potatoes and headed to next island.

Day 2. Arrived at second island. I love this place. Tons of potatoes and rope plants. I think I will live here.

Day 3. Raft is missing. Paddle is left behind. Must have either floated away or gotten rescued.

Day 4. Tons of wood from cutting down every tree. Decided to build myself a 4x4 house with a porch. Always wanted my own private island house.

Day 5. Out of wood. Swam to neighboring island for wood. Gathered as much wood and palm leaves as I could fit in my pockets. Built a fire and stayed the night here. Too tired to swim back. Tomorrow I will make a bed at my new house!

Day 6. Made it back home. House is now gone. It must have either floated away or gotten rescued. Perhaps I should never leave this island again. Maybe I will get rescued next?

Very good game. Get this and the second one!
