As a first time RDR1 player I can say this game is clearly dated but it holds up nicely. I love RDR2 a lot and wanted to see these character's stories play out. If I hadn't played RDR2 I don't think I would have bought this game. I know a lot of people played this game in their formative years and it holds a special place for them. As someone coming to this game for the first time present day I would say: I had fun, it was nice to see the character's stories play out, it was fun exploring a world I've experienced in a different context, it does hold up nicely, but it does show it's age as well. It definitely is not worth the full price but if it's on sale I guess I would recommend it.

This is probably one of the best games of all time.

The last time I cried this hard while playing a game was at the end of Red Dead Redemption 2.

I don't know, it's just not good.

I love this game but I would like to do stuff in the yards of the houses like mow the grass, plant flowers, trees or put stuff on the decks like patio furniture and grills. I think this would add a lot more enjoyment in renovating houses. Keep up the good work, love this game.

Better, cheaper, and has more content than EA's.

10/10 would buy all DLC again.

I guess I was on to something with my 2016 review. I payed for a AAA game... But what this game is and has been, is so much more than what most AAA studios have produced in the last 8 years. I would happily spend AAA prices for a game that has become something so beyond what anyone thought was possible.
