One of the best RPGs out there, if you're on the fence about buying it because you don't know if you'll like it, trust me you will.

This game feels like a love letter to all the Resident Evil games before it with a focus on homages to RE4. The story was wonderful, thou kind of barren around the middle part of the game but that doesn't last too too long.

The only thing I can fault this game for is Hardcore is brutal if you start on it. Enemies kill you in 2-3 hits, which is to be expected, but they are also bullet sponges which feels odd when looking back at past RE game's Hardcore mode. Also no FOV slider, odd since RE7 had one.

However these gripes are minor and you can get a mod that lets you increase the FOV. So all in all a really good experience. Definitely worth getting 9/10

Absolutely a fun romp with friends. Cataclysm and Legend are fun to challenge yourself and your friends and can get really hectic with a few mistakes.

This game was the most Bottom-of-the-Barrel garbage I've ever played. The game is horribly unoptimized, unpolished and heartless. The main antagonists are unlikable and they tried to pull a sympathy card on them with a flashback scene. Awful writing, guns feel bad to use and the most ludo-narrative dissonance I've experienced in a game for a long time. Do Not Buy. took 11 hours to beat and is not worth the price tag, not even 10$
