My computer chugged through the unskippable (presumably, couldn't find the skip key if it exists) launch cutscene, but when I finally got in-game it was pretty fun stuff. And all the other cutscenes played fine afterwards!

Varied weapon types that can be modified to scale off any of the three damage-type stats, abilities that aren't locked to a class for mixing and matching. A little bit of platforming and old school environment graphics scratched an itch I didn't know I had, felt like I was playing some old PS1 games for the first time again. Characters in the game appear to come from a dimension where everyone subsists on McDonalds food alone and obesity runs rampant, but for 10 dollars this game was pretty dang fun, and I hope to see many updates in the future.

Small game about big mechs. It's not incredible, but it ain't bad. I like mechs, so I like the game. I might not spend much more time on it, but I like it.

Soulash 2 is GREAT. A rogue-like with some meat on it's bones! At first the potential system scared me a little, worries of not being able to get every skill to max seemed limiting, but it's actually great from a character building perspective, and I feel it reduces the sting of death, because losing all your skills means you can try for something new. And your previous efforts will not go wasted, so long as you built a settlement or something to build wealth. You did save some potential for construction skill, right?

As a side note, if the potential limit really bothers you, you can just raise it a bit and go on your merry way.

I do not know who I am, I don't know how I got this DLC.

EDIT: Apparently when they reduced the price by $20 they gave new players only one slot for characters. Those who bought the game at the original $40 price get this DLC so nothing changes for us, and those who only want one character anyways can get the game cheaper. I see no way for anyone to be upset by this turn of events!

A pretty faithful re-imagining of the original Helldivers. It's got some fresh ideas, and overall it makes for more exciting gameplay with less focus on taking down patrols, but there's still room for a playstyle that avoids the brunt of enemy forces. Just a handful of stratagems, weapons, and naturally the illuminate away from surpassing the first game entirely.

Mortal Online 2 is pretty interesting. I do not regret my time. I struggled to play it regularly, and with a subscription I don't see myself playing it again. I would not recommend it, but it could be fun if you REALLY like pvp and full-loot. It is a crunchier game, and this can make progression rewarding. Progression will be slow even if you are not repeatedly set back by the bandits of the world. With the subscription in place, I will likely not return.
