Early Access Review
TL;DR: Play this game if you want the gameplay of warband but better. If you don't mind the bugs, buy it, if you do, wait until it fully releases.

As a linux player, I'll say this: I won't comment on the bugs or crashes of the game as proton doesn't seem to like this game all too much, so I can't be certain if any instability is due to proton or the game itself, I'll only comment on the gameplay itself for this review.

The gameplay is amazing, if you liked warband, you'll certainly like bannerlord. It's essentially the same game with better everything and by the time it comes out of early access in the next decade, it'll be even better. The worldbuilding is much better than warband, it seems like more focus was put into the story and the world than warband ever had. Though the worldbuilding unfortunately comes at the cost of playing another campaign, after your first playthrough you may get tired of having to do the main storyline and having to travel the world just to get information on Neretzes Folly or The Battle of the Pendraic as a lord will call it, you can't create your own kingdom without doing this. Fortunately, there are mods to get rid of the main quest and they will allow you to create a kingdom from the start, though I really think the devs should allow you to skip this without having to install a mod.

Settlement management is much better than warband's, you can build more buildings and manage more things, essentially, you have more things to sink your money and time into, there's not much more to say here.

Sieges have plenty of potential, though the AI ruins it kinda, not that warband had good siege AI, but I definitely get the feeling of a massive siege as I and an army of 1000 troops siege down a town like Pravend, or Praven if you're still stuck in warband, it certainly is a great experience that would be better with better AI. They also got rid of the multiple stages in sieges, now it's only the one big siege and one big loading screen.

Battles are amazing, now it's much easier to gather a large force to do anything, as I've mentioned before, you can gather a large army of 1000 men to siege down a city or to engage another army from your enemies just by using a good bit of influence, which you can get from winning tournaments or winning battles/sieges. There's no more trying to take a town with 100 men because the AI is too stupid to do it themselves or to help you, just by using influence you can force anyone to join your army, though there's a time limit which is decreased the larger your army, and it costs even more influence to extend this time, and influence can be hard to get, especially early game. The combat and tactics are the same as warband just a bit better.

The crafting system is a start, but they definitely need to add the ability to make armour and shields, and they need to extend or remove the stamina limit on the amount of things you can make, you can barely make a sword in a day considering the materials you have to smelt.

So, I think that's it, keep in mind this is a review that isn't considering the bugs due to me using linux, and based on other reviewers comments, you can expect to crash and freeze alot too, as well as experience quite a few bugs. Keep that in mind when you consider how positive I've been about this game in the review, don't buy this game if you can't accept bugs and unpolished or unfinished mechanics, if you think that will ruin the game for you, wait for it to come out of early access and don't ruin what an otherwise great game is to you by playing the game when it's unfinished.

This is my favorite rythm game, the songs are nice, the singers sing well and the dancers dance well, and the rythm games themselves are really fun to do, although the dance game can be a bit confusing and a bit harder than the karaoke game.

Oh, yea, there's also a side plot involving the Yakuza in this game which isn't as good as any of the rythm games, but the storyline and fighting is a decent addition.

Its kinda ♥♥♥♥ tbh. When you get into the game, first you have to click ready and wonder why its taking forever. Then you go and google what to do. Then you have to figure out how to verify your files if dont already know how. Then you finally get in the game and wonder why your camera is slighty moving to the left. Then you never play again because its ♥♥♥♥.
