If you enjoy left for dead style coop pve fps games, i cannot recommend deep rock enough. even if its not something you'll enjoy, its still worth a try. one of the few early access games that actually try to get out of the early access banner, its one of the few early access games that I've played that's actually a polished experience, the only bugs ive encountered hasn't been anything game breaking and the devs have always fixed them. all that can be said is that its great, go get it.
other early access devs need to take notes from this team on how to make early access titles properly.

Edit. One addition i have to add is the ingenious way they have implemented their battle passes into the game. Everything you get is through playing the game and all the loot you were not able to get are added into the existing loot pool, so you never miss anything out. Easily the best battle pass ever implemented and something rarely implemented, only comparable being the Helldivers 2 battle passes.

Before i say anything else, disclaimer, im a firm believer that the way you monetize your game is as much part of the game as is gameplay or aesthetics. If you dont think so and you want to disregard this review because of it, be my guess.

What can i say about this game, thatll not trigger at least some of the people playing it, who for some reason still cares about steam reviews? probably nothing. Its pretty much a game that does a lot of things other games do, but masters none of it.
Gameplay is your typical hero shooter with the emphasis on teamwork and Overwatch style 5v5 pvp consisting of all your favourite roles. Champions, or Heroes, whatever you want to call them, are all about quantity over quality compared to other similar games, having a lot more of them but having half the dedication and quality of a character from OW for example.
Regular game modes consists of onslaught, witch is a King Of The Hill type of mode with a point that the teams need to hold to get points, Team deathmatch, witch is a total waste of time and Siege, witch is a mix between Onslaught and Payload (pls bring normal payload back).

Business model and monetization, the thing everyone wants to complain about but no ones wants to hear others to do so.
Main source of in game purchases, that the game has are in both character customization and in buying Champions, so that you can use them whenever you want without having to rely on the character rotation, thats taken straight out of League Of Legends.
If youre the type of person, who loves to have their character look apart, but don't want to blow money on a game like this, i recommend not to get too into it as even getting the basic skins (that are usually very underwhelming) are a big grind away to access.
Most good looking skins and other types of customization are locked as being either limited or exclusive, making them unable to be obtained, unless during very special limited times and i have a feeling, that i talk on behalf of most people, when i say that i will not wait for the devs to finally put the skin i want into a box so that i can spend money on maybe getting it, i will go play games that actually let me get the stuff i want.

In conclusion, if you want to just play a free2play overwatch/league inspiration and don't mind the grind or the lackluster gameplay, or even dont have money and want to spend few hours messing in a free2play game, more power to you. But if you want a serious team shooter experience or have an impulsive personality towards micro transactions like this, i don't recommend as there are many better alternatives out there, even if it means spending some money up front.
