Finally beat the game at 63 hours.
I'm really glad that the youtube algorithm gods bestowed is piece of gem to me.

The story really phenomenal for a indie rpg
the scope is huge and it delivers, the only complain is that the dialog can be meh at times and the tropes being outdated (but tbf it was developed for around 14-16 years)
I can see it being a 10/10 masterwork if these issues are fixed along with filler content between the main chapters to give us more time to develop feelings for characters.

The combat is also pretty outstanding for a 2d sidescroller, the impact is great, there are many ways to do combos on enemies and freedom of movement is high.
as you progress and explore, you keep discovering new abilities that can change how you approach combat, you also get new passives from maxing out exp with a weapon, encouraging players to try out every type of weapon and play style.


Combine the combat and the story you'll have a game that glues you on the seat until you realize it's sun rise.
