Hard Reset Redux is incredibly mediocre. The gunplay feels super boring—you're basically just unloading tons of ammo into wave after wave of robot enemies, and they don't even react until they eventually explode. It's not satisfying at all. The levels are also pretty bland, with a dark urban cyberpunk vibe that doesn't really change much each level. Everything looks the same because of the reused assets, and there's no real sense of place in the city.

If you're after a solid FPS with fun gunplay and well-designed levels, you're better off playing the Shadow Warrior series by the same devs

Surprisingly well made game with a true Battlefield feel to it. Beware though, it does have a few elements of more hardcore shooters such as bandaging yourself after you are shot.

Greatly improved game. Gunplay is lots of fun and rivals some of the best in Battlefield. Maps play surprisingly well. Although the game is still a little janky, it's worth purchasing on sale because of how fun it is.

Nostalgia. Hilarious fails. Highly recommend.
