This is the best game I've played all year. Genuinely wish every single person on my friends list, or whomever is reading this review would play it. I'm afraid to describe anything about it without spoiling anything, so i just want to encourage anyone to keep playing after the first act. Don't know what else i can say about it to be honest! PLAY IT

I first stumbled upon this game on facepunch over half a year ago. Saw the video, images, and overall it looked very intriguing.

After completly forgetting about this i saw it on the steam sale and decided to go at it, without rewatching the videos because i did not want to spoil myself the suprise, and i like going blind into these kind of games. The game became interesting in an instant, i have just started playing and already wanted to know more about the story and have some context.

After going through the prologue and finally got to play i was disapointed and mad at myself. The game has RPG-styled battles (like Final Fantasy) which i kinda hate.

This is 100% my fault for not rewatching the videos, which DO show the RPG battles.
I do recommend this game because it still looks dark, twisted, and very unique

And the lesson at the end of the day is, always research about a game before getting it

This game is pretty much your average fantasy board game, but now on your computer!
I used to play this game pretty often when i was younger as the actual board game with my friends, so i pretty much recommend it. Take note that this game is still in it's early access stage, so it is not by any means finished.
