its alright

this is the one you wanna buy if you wanna use it in OpenRCT2

the real horror of this game was not being able to change the radio station fast enough when forty five six six six came on

serious review tho:
i got this game 5 days ago and i played literally as much as i could every day
this game really sucked me in like it is fantastic
im not one for survival horror, but this hits the nail on the head - its more "survival eerie"
think enter the radius vr mixed with the best arcade-y car physics and maintenance youve ever played with and its that
the sound design is great i cannot stress it enough THE MUSIC STILL PLAYS WHEN YOU LEAVE THE CAR BUT IT GETS PROPERLY MUFFLED AND THEN UNMUFFLES IF YOU OPEN THE DOOR
AND THEN IT MUFFLES AGAIN WHEN YOU WALK TO THE OTHER SIDE

Extremely Unoptimized but Fun

I enjoy this game a lot but i cannot recommend it to most ppl, as in its current state it is hideously unoptimized, even at low settings on, what is admittedly an aging system (1660 Ti, RX 3800X, 16gb RAM), I was getting 30 fps averages that slowly crept down to about 20-25
and after entering any dungeon my framerate fell to less than 15 average until i restarted

Additionally, the motion blur is ALWAYS ON unless you got edit a file which, is strange. the off setting should turn it off

Otherwise the game is fun, it plays like any standard survival-crafty open world game, just with little guys you can capture and utilize which is fun so if you (like me) dont mind putting up with some major jank its pretty fun

its been 3 years and i still havent finished the first world and its still gorgeous and fun

standard DLC hog of a game, but not the most egregious ive played, honestly can almost justify purchasing it with the price-content ratio (and i am VERY dlc adverse)

overall a pretty good spiritual successor to mudrunner/spintires
