10/10 Best remake

I cannot to begin to describe how much I love this game and all the games in the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. series. Despite putting in over 1000 hours into these games, I've spent most of that in modded Anomaly which has to be one of the most dedicated and fantastic modding communities I've seen. Without a full proper SDK, the community has managed to mod the game to hell and back to make the whole thing look and play like it came out only a couple years ago. There's always new stuff being made and its great to watch it all grow and try out new things. I absolutely love it. The bugginess, the jank, the immersive environment, the atmosphere that can go from cozy to downright spooky, and the methodical FPS gameplay. I love it all.

One of the best ways to update a classic and still keep it true to its original design. HL: MMod keeps old HL1 but turns it up to 11 without going to 12.
