I love this game. Its the best WW2 stratigy game covering the era from a nation perspective. You control how to invest your resources, and prepare for war. Its a lot of fun to play different countries. I'm from the Netherlands, which wasnt in a good state before/in second world war. But its fun to start off so poorly and just see if you can find a way to hold back the germans. OR, join the germans and invade britain.

Its worth its large price tag.

This game would maybe be good for a lower price. But for what it is its too expensive. Second, in several campains i have reached a point where the game just crashes when i end the turn. Should have something to do with some animation not loading in right, but ive reinstalled the game, varrified local files and everything possible. After 27 hours I'm giving up on the game as it is no fun having to restart campains several times.

If the complete edition is bellow 20 bucks and you really want a warhammer 40k game you can maybe try it, hope you dont suffer any of these issues, as not everyone is having them. As it is tho, even if it works, full price is way too much. The full game is also 3.5GB or something. Not that that says everything, but most games that come like that have a price to match.

When it works its fun, but you must really like 40K to justify the price.

I wrote a whole essay in word the correct my spelling and honestly, it was so long, it was too much. let me try to keep it short.

the game has never worked for me without constant technical difficulties. I've tried multiple times, spread over years, and different systems. Currently RTX 2080 and intel 9700k, and it freezes on the loading screen. I've come further before, but then i had constant frame stutters, or other issues.

The game itself? COH1 is better. I would say it looks better too. But its also more fun to play. The changes to the command tries - > commanders is terrible, just make to make money, but it actually ruins the idea of picking a command tree that helps you depending on what happens in a game, before you pick one before you start. they are less impactful, and just there so you spend money to buy them all as dlc. They dont even offer the same value as the older trees. less units and powers.

I could go on for hours, as i did. But you wouldnt read it so let me be short: dont get it. I've played 103 hours because I love COH1 but want something a bit different after all these years. But i dont think ive ever really had a fun moment with COH2. Its been problem after problem after problem.

Now in 2020 when i decided to give it another try i cant get past the loading screen without freezing... what can you say.

I honestly dont get why it has so many positive reviews. Its not that its buggy or very bad, but its very short, no replayability, and at no point did i enjoy myself very much.

There is a lot of filler micro, like the need to individually send employees on holiday. Its just annoying and there arent much tactical decisions to be made about it. The progression isnt very interesting either, although there are a few new buildings, you cant change anything about them, you just get upgraded to a new office that looks slightly cooler but you cant upgrade anything inside the office, it just offers more space for extra employees.

The upgrades to games come down to just an extra option, like now you can choose if you want your game to have save games. i just found myself using the best version of every option in every game. Profits aren't really a problem anyway.

There is no insight into game devs, nor the industry as a whole. and the game is just pretty boring and short, with no replay value. No bugs tho, and at 5 euro its not expensive.

I played this with my girlfriend, i bought it especially to play with her.

For me, I'm not sure i would have bought the game. But to play together with someone who is not a gamer its great! Infinit deaths, lots of story, cool mechanics, but not to difficult (the only buttens are 4move keys, and 1 interact key per character). Some parts require some hand eye cooridination my girlfriend had some trouble with, but nothing that frustrated her so much that she wanted to quite.

Which is a big improvement on trying to introduce her to playing games i usually play. So for with someone who doesnt game great! The game itself is not bad, but you have to like the simple mechanics (if you coop) but the story is good, but also not to special. I Would have not bought the game just for me. But I would buy it again to play it with someone who does not game (often).

Just my honest opinion.

Payday 2 is something different! Many games allow you to be some kind of "bad", like protoype allowed you to become an evil monster, and GTA allows you to to become a crimelord. However neither require planning or Co-op to succeed.

You have watch the cameras untill the security office is secured, you cant just shoot the cameras on higher difficulties either. The black screen will still alert the guards. If you shoot a guard you have to anwser his pager, if you shoot to many the other guards on the radio get suspicious and call the alarm anyway. Some missions need to be done in stealth, others can't be done in stealth at all. There are 4 skill trees, and no matter how you try you will not have enough skillpoints to fill 1/3 of the opions.

Its a deep game that requires actual cooperation for perfect scores. It has its faults, and some missions do get boring after a while, but luckely the game has Free DLCs, and you are even allowed to join DLC maps you dont have, you are just not allowed to HOST any maps you dont own, which is great!

I really like it, good co-op, fun to plan heists, great into movie! (really watch that ♥♥♥♥♥♥, skipped it the first few times like i do for every game but its really good.)

Great Game. Its like the older magic game, but better! not much new features, but multiplayer finanly works!
