Ever changing game at this point in time. Not always in a good way.

UPDATE (JANUARY 2025):

Square-Enix has a history of inconveniencing their customers who purchased the game and the following expansions through Steam, year after year.

Consider stopping writing your EULAs, User Agreements and Policies so ambiguously.
Your latest being the "Group Customer Harassment Policy".



Any Steam version service accounts, will need to start the FINAL FANTASY XIV client application from the Steam application's Play button. Any other method of startup will no longer be available.

The last third of the game is missing. Repetitive missions. Far less innovation in the gameplay department when compared to previous MGS games. Cheaters all over the FOB multiplayer. Other than those things, it's a solid game.

Wonderful decision by the devs to continue supporting the original game alongside PoE 2.

Do NOT buy. Not even on sale. Especially not the so-called story DLCs, which only add to disappointment of the base game.

A game with an episodic release schedule before it was made cool by the Half-Life 2 Episodes. I really wish this game had sequels, though.
Also comes with the original SiN from 1998. If you are looking to also play the Wages of Sin mission pack, hop over to gog and look up SiN Gold over there.

An incomplete game. Not like it's missing a third of the content like a certain other game, but you can feel that something's absent from the latter part of the game.
