A free find the cats game that markets other Toge games in a fun way, while also having a level of effort and detail on this game that puts most other "Find ____" games to shame.

I...have no idea what I played. The only thing I am sure of is drugs were involved in the development of this title. I don't mean over the counter ones either. I'm talking the ones not yet available to the general public, crafted in the secret basement R&D laboratories of Big Pharma companies under the payroll of wanna be dictators looking to take over the world through psychedelic warfare. Take with 8 ounces of water.

Don't do it. This game has the worse puzzle hit boxes I have ever seen. When you get up to the higher count puzzles you literally can't pick up the piece you are after because you get every piece under it, beside it, within 3 inches of it, etc. Worst I had was trying to pick up the same piece for over 2 minutes on a 220 piece puzzle, but because the tray area is so narrow and you can't change the speed pieces are flying around at...I picked up over 40 pieces by clicking on the specific piece I wanted without ever getting the piece I was intentionally clicking on. This is the absolutely most frustrating puzzle game I have ever played!

Solo play - meh.

Group play - great game!

Had a lot of fun with this one. Each faction fleet seems to have a gimmick that makes it very strong if played to advantage. For instance I only lost a handful of ships in my first grand master win using the Imperial fleet, and my Royal fleet games usually went without a ship loss until late game regardless of difficulty level.

It plays more like a board game since you only have one move a turn to base your strategy around. The other factions like you also get one move a turn, and the Empire gets 2-4 depending on difficulty level to move their doom fleets against your fledgling breakaway faction. Paying attention to combat movement is important to make sure your firing arcs line up correctly since most weapons can't fire 360 degrees, and some weapons even have minimum ranges where they can't fire point blank.

Great no pressure game that you can play while distracted by other things, watching TV, eating dinner, etc. since there is never any enemy movement during your turn. I can see myself going back to this game every once in a while in the years to come.

Definitely enjoying it so far!

You can build stuff, tear stuff down, conduct farm and forestry, drive vehicles in low gravity, and explore an absolutely massive map while scavenging for technical knowledge left behind at other bases no longer in use. Meteors and probes come bearing (sometimes very destructive) gifts, the ERA drops you supplies sometimes in the seemingly crappiest locations to drive to, and weather can sometimes ruin your day...or end it. And the night sky is absolutely beautiful!

There is a lot to do even though it is Early Access. And yes, I did eat potatoes grown in my own poop, so let's not talk about that ever again.

I launched rockets!

Note to first timers that you need all the rocket components floating around to launch the rocket - no more will spawn if you use them on the ghost/rotate/placement special actions. This means that you will have to do one puzzle twice in order to get the three special action achievements and the "launch" achievement for the same puzzle. Hopefully you read this before you decide to do the biggest puzzle first...and have to do the puzzle all over again to get the launch achievement as well like I did.

Rating: NEUTRAL

I realize these "Pixel Puzzles 2" games are tests of different things to see what works and what players like. Cool beans.

My reason for neutral on this is the washout effects of the water are way too strong on some of the boards. On certain boards (may only be the bigger piece counts where the piece size also changes when picked up) every piece becomes blue in the water and loses all other coloring (has a little blue-scale shading is all). You pull out three pieces that look the same color to have one white, one brown, and one red. This is too much washing out, and I can only imagine how bad it is for anyone with any level of color blindness.

This effect gets worse the larger the puzzle. I'm not sure why, but the pieces in the water are shrunken down so small for a measly 220 piece puzzle that I have to put my face on my 48" monitor to be able to make out any details on them in the water. Yet when you pick them up they double in size. There is so much open space in the water for the pieces to motor boat around in the unchangeable puzzle random movement speed that I see no reason for the pieces to be shrunken down so small it's like trying to find...a bird's gonads in winter.

While neither of these are actual problems on the small puzzles, they make the larger puzzles frustrating (you can't even do sections of the puzzle based on color because all pieces are blue) and back pain inducing (because pieces in the water are so small you need tweezers to grab them).

On a side note the 100 crab achievement needs to be updated. It does not trigger on 100 crabs in a play session like it reads - it requires 100 crabs on the same puzzle! I drank two six-packs while waiting for 100 crabs to drop on a single puzzle so this achievement definitely fits in the ridiculous range on non-productive time requirements.

Bought on sale for some quick achievements...but not worth it.

Incredibly obvious that it's AI art with all the inconsistencies. Different sized legs, different types of shoes, different colored shoes, etc. Also a very lazy "game" as this seems to have been approximately 4 prompts and then a copy/paste of all the results into the "game" so you have the same few models in the same few poses with a bunch of different backgrounds to give you bulk but no substance.

Honestly I could have spent this 50 cents on a better set of achievements.

Yes it's a "free" game, but to 100% it you are forced to make a "donation." Blackmail? Entrapment? Don't know what the proper term is, but even Yakuza and Mafia are surprised by such audacity.

Your "donation" isn't like buying a regular DLC for more content. It's a straight up fleecing to get 100%.

Charge for the game not some mandatory "donation" in the future.
