8/10 - Beautiful game (visually as well as gameplay), really enjoyed it.

- Easy in overall difficulty with options to increase difficulty for bonus exp rewards (which can make it quite challenging)
- Plenty of balanced weapons that fit vastly different play styles

One complaint I do have about the game is the way that new weapons and skills are introduced: you receive new weapons in an un-upgraded form and are forced to play with a seemingly under-powered weapon. After a hard time during the level due to the new weapon, you probably won't take it out for another spin. This creates a bias for the starting weapons unless you really like to experiment.

7/10 - Short and sweet fps puzzler

Pros:
- The "portal" mechanic is very well done and allows for many inventive techinques.
- The game is paced very well and gets you used to the mind-bending world of portal-creating before expecting a lot from you.
- Although a short game (it took me 2-3 hours to beat), the challenges are nothing to scoff at: You will need to become a Portal expert before you will be able to take the Gold (took me .

Cons:
- Going through two floor portals can be quite disorienting and messes up the controls (due to continual automated attempts to flip the character upright)

9/10 - Highly recommended rogue-like!

Pros: Extremely addicting, lots of variety, and quite the challenge

Cons: Due to the extreme variability, separate playthroughs can either be a walk in the park or a crawl over rusty nails in the pits of hell (depending on the items you get). Also, if you get hopelessly addicted to the Binding of Isaac, it can ruin your life like it did mine ;P

Highly recommended: 9/10!

Pro: Tight controls, plenty of attention-grabbing variety, and an addicting system that keeps you coming back for more!

Con: VERY difficult and not for the beginning platformer
